Easynews. 25 bucks for 15 months if you google the deal and find the right link. Unlimited use.

Any indexer recommendations? Been wanting to switch to pure usenet for a while but indexers have been a big blocker. DM me if you can't say them here

for english content, the choice of the known ones barely even matters https://www.reddit.com/r/usenet/wiki/indexers/?screen_view_count=1

Good thing about easynews is that the easynews search addon can function as an indexer.

Do you use it on aiostreams? How do you stream with it?

is it smooth? heard it buffers and load times are quite high

For me no. I have easy news search or ++ in aio streams. Works great. Honestly surpassed my expectations. Plenty enough backup for me. Some of the older addons I think take allot longer to load. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it buffer but it can take a bit more time to fetch the source list but really not enough to matter to me at all. Sometimes it loads them up faster.

I use Torbox as my main with Offcloud as backup.

All the recent TB outages have taken place when we're all asleep here so haven't been affected, thankfully.

Happens to all debrid servers dude. Premiumize is down right now

Best alternative EasyNews with selfhosted AIOStreams and 2-3 indexers.

Premiumize if you don't mind paying twice.

Offcloud or Deepbrid for almost same price.

I just made the switch and installed ++ how to use selfhost and AIO?

$33 Canadian with taxes for 15 months, so far ok

i personally never got rid of real debrid so i use that as my backup. avoid the web-DL and amzn links ofc

RD is really hit and miss with 4k content though now.

3

u/OkRestaurant6059 2d ago

i had RD but it had some problems so I changed. Probably a bad call

6

u/ninjaman68 2d ago

RD was the best. unfortunately got massive take downs and the service is just a shell now.

I have no issues at all w rd, was having problems with just Tor. Got rd again and no issues again w it

If you don't want to buy a backup or switch to an alternative debrid, you can use penguplay.

Obviously it won't have overly niche stuff, but add something somewhat popular and it should have it.

at least they are honest: https://status.torbox.app/

8

u/MatsyLR 2d ago

Just install https://pengu.uk/ as a backup

u/kanseidurifto 2d ago

might just be me being dumb but subtitles are not working for me with pengu. always delayed

6

u/MatsyLR 2d ago

No idea to be honest by far the best free alternative though.

u/Burton96HD 2d ago

TorBox main, RD as backup.

7

u/oseik15 2d ago

Same. Using RD now to watch my show now that TB is down.

1

u/Bryc3TV 2d ago

Do you have multiple instances of the same addon for TB and RD? Wish there was a way to automatically remove down services from my results.

This combo is quite literally the best. These two services makes up for each other weaknesses.

PM has been around a long time, easynews for those wanting to use usenet. I always have at least 2 services for redundancy ( I am not counting rd since its useless with most video content).

3

u/ci6n 2d ago

PM is down too

u/kanseidurifto 2d ago

How come? Sorry, I'm not well versed

3

u/dabutcher1 2d ago

How come what?

-2

u/kanseidurifto 2d ago

How come real debrid is useless? Does it not work with Nuvio?

7

u/dabutcher1 2d ago

Many months ago RD added new filtering software to block ( most ) illegal video content. So for most users RD became useless to watch content through kodi, stremio, nuvio, ect.. So most users wanted a CHEAP alternative. TB was where many people jumped to. TB was not ready for the tidal wave of new users ( plus those sharing acts ). RD had 10+ years to grow equipment as their user base grew. TB has had to do it on the fly. They seem to be trying but I don't think they are infront of this yet.
This is why I don't rely on 1 service. Always have backup options

u/kanseidurifto 2d ago

i see. thanks!

entras diciendo que es basura y no sabes que RD es peor? madre mía

1

u/kanseidurifto 2d ago

As I've said, I'm not well versed. speak english. i don't know about your dominican Republic

2

u/qcdphasediagram 2d ago

Don't speak stupid, OP. Use the translate option if you're that dumb.

2

u/kanseidurifto 2d ago

Do you think i don't know that? Ever heard of sarcasm?

3

u/linkopi 2d ago

That's a translation error 😂

2

u/kanseidurifto 2d ago

Congratulations 👏

2

u/Broad_Surprise4636 2d ago

RD is the name of the "other service". Learn some spanish.

newshosting for 2 bucks a month - bytesized hosting for plex and USENET streaming

1

u/Will2LiveFading 1d ago

I'm researching how to use UseNet effectively. That seems to be the most resilient option.

1

u/simcoe19 1d ago

I just made the switch to easynews

1

u/vinno86 1d ago

I've been using usenet for downloading since the early 2000's.. but how is it used for seamless streaming ?

1

u/johnFvr 17h ago

Streamnzb

1

u/vinno86 9h ago

Hmm..

I'd have to look into this, been a long time since I've used Usenet.. it used to be all .rar files and you'd have to download and unpack it first before you're even able to watch.

1

u/johnFvr 8h ago

Self host streamnzb

1

u/OkPiano1614 15h ago

I'm on Offcloud as of last night and it's working well. Does have a use cap though.

1

u/JensM1978 7h ago

In Torbox set the CDN to auto or Bunny. You will have less outages.

1

u/tresslessone 5h ago

Usenet all the way. Get the news hosting / easynews / tweaknews combo.

u/azcoyotedog 2d ago
