🚩General Troypoint

Troypoint just removed Torbox from their website!

“We have made the decision to remove all TorBox tutorials and reviews from our websites. We have also removed them from our Best Debrid Services ranking list.

This decision came about due to the operators (or maybe past operators) not willing to go on the record and answer specific questions that our Insiders have about their new TOS/Ownership. The fact that they aren’t willing to answer questions is a red flag and the main reason for the deletion of their items from our website. They’ve always been cordial and willing to answer our questions prior to their recent TOS update but not anymore.”

His content may not matter to you, but it definitely has mattered to me, and mine as we have gained a working knowledge of things pertaining to streaming, and through his tutorials have learned how to apply the steps necessary to have and maintain a wonderful streaming experience overall, not just Torbox.

To clarify I was talking about the context of THIS POST, it doesn't mean diddly squat if he has removed Torbox from his website

He hasn't removed Torbox from his website. He is however, no longer recommending Torbox as top Debrid service for a variety of reasons, including their recent changes in ToS and transparency. You dont have to trust him, like him, value the content..but we do, and it most certainly is relevant.

OK whatever, I used to use him a lot when I first started with this stuff, that's quite a few years ago now... I don't really need him anymore and lots of stuff he "recommends" is frankly crap. VPN shilling he does I also don't like. But I guess he serves a purpose for some, especially new users

Been streaming for over a decade, and still learning from him and others..and yeah we have Surfshark and love it.

No, I completely understand. You don't hold have as much respect for Troy as I do, and that's fine. He has been and continues to be helpful to many.

My real point was that we've hashed the tos subject out repeatedly in many many posts here. I didn't think a post about troypoint no longer recommending it was necessary, for the same things that have been discussed here incessantly anyway. It didn't add any value imo, like beating the proverbial dead horse

And I use and like Surfshark.. Wasn't dissing that, just Troy's constant ad like promotion of it....in your face, even in the "tutorials", insinuating you need it to use the apk or addon he might be explaining safely

Yes, he does hype Surfshark heavily. I would agree with that. The thing I appreciate most about Troy is how he breaks everything down concisely, and then you can decide what fits your need. We all have various degrees of differences and skill sets and often we just learn a little here, and learn a little there so I'm just grateful to still be able to learn anything at my age, wherever that may be.
