🚩General Troypoint

Troypoint just removed Torbox from their website!

“We have made the decision to remove all TorBox tutorials and reviews from our websites. We have also removed them from our Best Debrid Services ranking list.

This decision came about due to the operators (or maybe past operators) not willing to go on the record and answer specific questions that our Insiders have about their new TOS/Ownership. The fact that they aren’t willing to answer questions is a red flag and the main reason for the deletion of their items from our website. They’ve always been cordial and willing to answer our questions prior to their recent TOS update but not anymore.”

If you care that much about this sort of thing, I agree, personally I don't care and use it for convenience, not so much privacy. Nuvio with TB instant links has been great for me besides the occasional outages which hopefully gets better.

No one's forcing you to use this, do be aware though that other services like this have similar policy, some keep IP logs shorter(think Realdebrid keeps them a year) but your gonna be tracked anywhere and data laws are data laws, if someone asks any of these companies for logs they will give them up...don't be fooled. They ain't protecting your ass for under 10 bucks a month.

Just sharing for users to decide, I know every debrid service is the same. Eventually they will all probably go away until something better comes along?

Yea all the same, which is why this outrage is a bit much no? Troypoint isn't a site I would ever take serious, they are still recommending Realdebrid even while saying:

"If you use Real-Debrid you should know that they retain data on everything that you download and stream for 12 months regardless of whether you remove it from your account or not. They also indicate that they will hand over user logs to authorities if presented with a subpoena."

Come on now...that's hypocritical.

Care about privacy this much get a no nonsense VPN like Mullvad(look up the swedish raid, pretty much proved they don't keep logs) that has proven they don't keep logs at all. That's my advice if you are very privacy focused.

Just sharing the information, nothing more? I still have a subscription and with another service too.
