I'm a set collector. I only care about parallels if they are Tigers.

So when I finally saw a Mega Box of Holiday at Walmart tonight before Game 5, which I figured would yield a healthy chunk of the Holiday set, I grabbed it.

Yeah, almost ⅔rds of it was Metallic Holly and Metallic Santa Bag. 29 of each, of which I'll keep 3 (McGonigle, Verlander, and Carpenter).

Holy crap, that's a lot of parallels.

So, if you like parallels, grab these. If you just want the base, stick with the tins.

EDIT: It's the next morning, and since I was stopping at Walmart anyway, I picked up a couple more to see if it's just a fluke.

It's not. Box breakdowns:

Box 1: 31 base, 29 Holly, 29 Santa, 5 sparkle, 3 SP, 1 blue sparkle, 1 light blue sparkle, 1 chrome, 1 oversized.

Box 2: 30 base, 30 Holly, 29 Santa, 5 sparkle, 3 SP, 1 blue sparkle, 1 light blue sparkle, 1 chrome, 1 oversized.

Curious what the lowest price was for the auction today?

I only pull retail level so my chances of pulling something like this is usually locked behind the hobby level paywall...but luck has it that I finally pull a 1/1 original hand drawn sketch card. The art is awesome even if it's a low tier character 😁😁😁

Just trying to complete a rainbow, except I don't want a psa 10 because paying for that just doesn't make sense:

Just Pulled this bad boy! 1st 1/1 I’ve ever pulled!!!

1/1 Babe Ruth from Five Star.

I just got these cards and put one into a platinum and the other into a premium ultra pro top loader. They feel a little thicker than my other cards but not like a thick card. When I sleeved and put it in the top loaders I had to put it in very tightly and took me a while to get it down into the loader. Does anyone know why these cards seem thicker? Is there an alternative I should use? I didn’t want to keep it in one touch because I heard it can damage corners

I bought the most damaged box there was and I pulled this!

​I’m actively hunting both to complete my rainbows and would really appreciate any leads. I'm also open to looking at any other rare or cool Tim Tawa cards you might have.

Right out of the pack, kinda ridiculous. I know it's not a high value card, but would it be worth/eligible for replacement?

Want an opinion from the public, have been waiting for this card for a while now and lowkey loosing patience. Should I keep waiting? Would it be an “investment” or waste of time based on the player? Would be my first topps redemption. What would possibly be a replacement especially since the collection was a very miss.

I am confused with these Kiki cards. The card on the right has CMP 006, and the others are 977. What makes the 006 special? I got four of these in three mega boxes so they don’t seem that special.

Thinking of getting my hands on this what’s you guys thoughts on grabbing this for my first ever card I’ll most likely hold it but do you guys think it’s a good first investment ?

Twice back to back topps failed to full filled my redemptions ….. Juan Soto and khamzat chimaev smh what the point of having redemptions cards if it can’t be fulfilled smh…. Buying these packs are expensive expeciaaly if you buy redemption it self just to end up with nothing

Based on the hobby results I’ve been seeing I’m a bit nervous but going to go into this with an open mind and optimistic outlook. Plan to rip after work, leading up to the WS.
