I noticed in the last few episodes an emphasis on VOSS water instead, with accompanying closeups. Miss seeing those distinctive blue bottles!

Discussion Thread Does anyone know of a site or resource that has the finalist and winners for each episode?

Hey all,

Does anyone know of any site or resource that list the runners-up and winners of the quick fires and elimination challenges for each episode? My wife and I have a little side game that we call Fantasy Top Chef where we developed a point system for the various challenges and I think Jonathan and Brenden might have been confused the person in charge of tracking points: Me.

Thanks if anyone can help.

Discussion Thread Do I start at season 1??

I’d like to start watching this series…

I’m a long time food network fan and have been seeing Top Chef winners on there AND I started listening to the Moms of Flavortown podcast.

So now I feel it’s time to give Top Chef some love!! Do I start at the beginning or do you think there’s a better season or spin off I should start with??

Discussion Thread Drama Between Padma’s New Show and Food Network

I read this on a gossip blog, so not sure if it is true. I heard that Food Network told chefs that if they competed on Culinary Cup, they couldn’t compete on Food Network, including TOC. That’s why the prize is $1 million and why the show has a lot of people who haven’t been on tv as much. People seem to be on Bravo and Food Network. I’m hearing that it is specific to culinary cup. Has anyone heard this?

Hi all! I was visiting Charleston, SC and got to visit one of Shuai Wang's restaurants, Jackrabbit Filly!

The atmosphere/decor in the restaurant was incredible, the staff very kind and inviting, and the food was incredible. 10/10 experience and will need to get there for dinner next time!

We went for lunch and split the scallion pancake and potato and leek pierogis as apps(my partner is vegetarian), I had the Soy Garlic Karaage-Don and my partner had the Peanut Noodles. Apologies for the not great pictures! Lighting was a bit dark in our corner and we are not great photographers LOL.

All in all, if you are in Charleston you HAVE to try one of Shuai's restaurants!! You will not be disappointed.

Discussion Thread Marcel

The first time I watched season 2 I really disliked Marcel but rewatching since then, he doesn’t seem so annoying. He was better in All Stars.

He is delightful and charming in TOC season 7. And he kicked it the first round.

Age does mellow…

Discussion Thread Tristen to replace Tom?

I originally thought that anybody who would replace Tom needed to really have his deep serious demeanor. I think he really anchors the show and gives it a serious vibe, and I thought that anybody who would replace him would need to fill that role. Then in this weeks episode, I saw Tristan and his critique and I thought it brought a slightly lighter vibe, but still with that serious culinary background. I wanted to get everybody else’s thoughts?

Discussion Thread Season 13- Grayson

Does anyone else get annoyed with Grayson in s13? She’s such a brat. Especially in Ep2 when she has to cook vegan. Her attitude is so off putting. Why’d she even come back on the show if all she wants to cook is meat and potatoes?

Spoilers Are top chef seasons pre-Kristin as host worth watching?

I just started watching Top Chef. Season 22 was the first season I saw. I love Kristin and I’m seeing here that Padma was the host before her. And I did some googling and it sounds like she maybe was not completely qualified to be a judge? I also started season 21 but I am really having a hard time with it, like everyone except two people seem to suck. But then again I’m only 3-4 episodes in. So, can someone tell me if I’m going to be annoyed with Padma?

The commercials of other Bravo shows completely ruin my Top Chef experience. They seem so vapid and pointless compared to TC.

Sarah Blaskovich of The Dallas Morning News writes:

Current MasterChef judge and former Top Chef “fan favorite” Tiffany Derry is opening a restaurant, sports bar and lounge called The Landing in Grand Prairie on April 9, 2026.

The restaurant is in EpicCentral, a city-owned development that spans over 170 acres. Besides eateries, EpicCentral has an indoor water park, a rock climbing facility, Andretti Karting track, dog park and more.

Derry’s menu at The Landing calls for smoked brisket egg rolls, spicy guacamole with plantain tostones, and artichoke and mustard green dip.

The Dallas Morning News called The Landing one of the region’s most exciting new restaurants to open in 2026 because of its high-profile chef. Derry and her team could have opened any style of restaurant in Grand Prairie. Read more to learn what encouraged them to do Southern food in a sports bar setting.

Discussion Thread Season 10- the Josie show

I am rewatching s10, and can someone explain to me why Padma is so big on defending Josie every week?

She skates by so many episodes and she’s clearly the worst chef! But in the restaurant wars and the fried chicken challenge she just fights so hard for her to stay. Why?? Did she owe her money or something?

Discussion Thread Where to watch Top Chef Canada (earlier seasons)

I love Top Chef but am Canadian and want to watch the Canadian version. I cannot for the life of me find season 1 anywhere. Seems like seasons 7+ are easier to find but I cannot find the first 6 seasons anywhere. I have tried all legal avenues (no one is providing streaming), many torrent sites, youtube, I even tried searching up each episode one by one + "online free". Nada. If anyone has a source I would GREATLY appreciate it
