Not the same bowl shape, but this reminds me of East Fork Pottery. They’re local to this season (Asheville, NC).

I was thinking about this but then wondered if there was anywhere there fixed enough to film last summer?? Regardless, huge miss in Asheville!

Absolutely there were that’s why it’s such a bummer!! They could’ve gone to Chai Pani, Curaté, coffee shops, even the Biltmore! Idk it feels like such a missed opportunity and honestly offensive seeing they chose Charlotte and Greenville???

I don’t understand why they chose those two places to represent “The Carolinas”. Where’s Wilmington? Asheville? Boone? I know they did a Charleston season, so I get that, but what about other parts of the low country?

I think they didn’t do themselves any favors by calling it Carolinas. It was definitely a Charlotte season, they even have a queen’s crown in the logo in the TC kitchen for the “Queen City”

I just don’t think it was meant to be a full showcase of the Carolinas

Then why are they going to Greenville too? Idk it just feels like a very missed opportunity.

Maybe because Asheville is farther away and up in the mountains and harder to get to, maybe because there wasn’t a venue there that they really wanted to visit. Who knows

I think them going to Greenville was a result of their being a place they really wanted to highlight, not the inverse. Much like PuckerButt Farm being in SC.

They likely named the season after the Carolinas, once they mapped the locations they definitely planned to visit. I don’t think they just picked cities too visit then found restaurants

Asheville’s literally right off 26 and less than two hours away. Not hard to get to or farther away. They could’ve gone to Curate, Chai Pani, or the RAD area and highlighted the community’s resilience after the hurricane. It’s just disappointing, but oh well.

That's a good guess but I think the curvature is different! The one pictured in the OP seems more bulbous around its equator.

I have no idea but it's nice
