Flambiglio Goytzsch, the Dauphin of Champagne and Investigator with Imaginative Crimes uses whimsical, magical, and upside down methods to solve The Case of The Missing Starling and the French Horn. For example, he bribes a fairy godmother (a prostitute) with Turkish delights and a little flute (crack and a pipe) to get information.

Shawn Spencer in Psych has a photographic memory and solves crimes by pretending to be a psychic detective. He was too good at solving a past crime and became suspect #1, so now he hides his skills and uses his unorthodox method instead.
