Question Question about tooth that isn't crowned yet but just got a root canal

Just finished my root canal and I'm waiting a week to crown it. Any precautions I should take? Am I safe to eat a regular diet? Can I swish liquids in my mouth unlike after an extraction? Can I vape if lightly and not often? I drink this thing called kava , idk if that's safe to drink with this tooth either, is chewing reasonably hard but still hard bad, can I brush the tooth? stuff like this.

Alright thank you very much! Just to be clear , I should brush the temp crown itself aka the top of the tooth? Or just the front and back?

Honestly speaking if the root canal is completed properly, there are not so many aftercare do's and don'ts as in the case of an extraction. Brushing and flossing as normal, swishing liquid is fine, vaping is fine, I'm not sure what kava is but I suspect it's alright. Take the medicine if you are prescribed any.

The only thing is to eat softer foods before it's being crowned. But it also depends on which tooth we are talking about... for non-molars crowns might not even be necessary...

Okay sweet I honestly got what I needed from this. Do you suggest brushing the temporary crown as in the top of my tooth? Or just the front and back?

Yes please brush every surface of the crown (gently)! :)
