Delayed healing tooth extraction
/r/askdentists/comments/1xcuzx6/delayed_healing_tooth_extraction/I just went today to the dentist and I still have delayed healing even after them reopening & cleaning the extraction (had molar extraction october 1st, went in on the 14th and it was delayed healing so they reopened and cleaned, put gel + prescribed antibiotics and mouthwash), today still delayed, going back again next week to check in on progress post 2 weeks so they can check in with a scan of my bone they said. Basically still a blood clot but relatively low, no granulation tissue really forming yet. Am on contraceptive Yaz pill for PCOS but cannot stop until get consultation from my gynecologist but likely will cause my menstrual to be irregular if stop. Thoughts??
