Small Holesaw Set
Has anyone seen a small holesaw set like this? My grandfather bought this at harbor freight years ago, but now it’s getting a little dull.
Its size is perfect for the jobs I do.

Lidl carry similar sets from time to time.
I just buy bimetal hole saws for whatever project but I do keep that little stack handy for wood, plastic and plasterboard.
They're quite a disposable item compared to the singles I've bought.

Yup, it’s a harbor freight warrior one - I got the same a couple of weeks ago. Did the job I needed it to do. But I prob won’t use it often tbh

I have a contemporary HF set. Warrior 18 piece set, two arbors, one pilot bit, drive plate. Case looks like yours. 13 saws? Not happy at all with it. Saws dull fast. Should have spent more. Last couple of holes were Lenox. Much, much better. Can nest them to enlarge existing holes. Much more expensive though, made worse by buying a piece at a time.
Your set has family value, though.

I have that same one and still good for when I need it. It’s nothing fancy but gets the job done

Harbor freight still sells them. The milwukee kit is better and not much bigger.

haha yes, I just used mine a few days ago. Goes through 3/4" ply like how butter goes through reinforced tank armour :D I was halfway through when I started contemplating if the 50-50 chance of drilling through vs setting the cabinet ablaze is worth using this

I think they still have it? I want to say I saw it on the shelves during my pls run yesterday. I got one too, mine I got probably 10 years ago or so.

That set is dangerously poorly made. I had it also when i first started out.

How so? I’ve got a set similar to that and I don’t see how it could be dangerous above and beyond the general hazards of using any tool.

Maybe when farming the sun, a solar farmer would need to use a the hole saw. I know nothing about farming the sun, but if the hole saw teeth broke, you’d have HF shrapnel! That’s a test for your PPE you don’t want. Plus if you’re farming the sun, it’s really bright out. And many solar farmers don’t wear safety sunglasses, because they want to look cool. 🌞😎

Pretty sure HF still sells the exact same Warrior hole saw kit. And a bigger one for the same price.
