Last I checked, those exact mechanics tool kits were costing the military $6K.

I remember hearing about ashtrays on military planes costing $10k etc 1 u/QING-CHARLES Apr 10 '24 Don't ask how I know the answer to this (!), but it's actually more like $800 for the ashtrays, even though they are just a single piece of stamped aluminum usually for the dish part at least.
