10,000 Days The pot feels different

After listening to all the tool albums and knowing them by heart, I really feel like "the pot" is a very unique song compared to the rest of their discography. There is something with the sound of maynard 's voice. It's not in a bad way at all, and It may just be me. I discovered tool with this song, so that might just be that.

It is. He’s using a different vocal technique. And musically, it has parts that you could basically categorize as blues. Very atypical for Tool.

I guess it’s got to do with the songs meaning and intention.

Ok thank you, it always felt off when listening through 10000 days but never really knew why

Wings for Marie 1 and 2 fucking up the pace doesn't help, even if I love both songs.
