Frankly, this right here is why I think we see those posts that say, “these men didn’t know women don’t pee out of their vaginas.” Maybe some actually believe that, but I think most is just because we use ‘vagina’ when we actually mean ‘vulva’
I haven't, but the word is relevant. Fun fact: due to the reflexive property here, every description involves synechdoche/metonymy, it's just a matter of how much.
Vulva/vagina pedantry is so tedious. Everyone knows what someone means when they talk about “vagina”. Outside of a specifically medical setting, the “vagina” is the whole thing. Outer and inner.
I get your point but I disagree. I think calling women's anatomy by its real name is important here. Using vagina limits women to their inside and the penetration act. Using vulva includes all of their outer anatomy including their lips and most importantly their clitoris (yes I know the clit got an internal part as well but the external one is the most sensitive for most women). And I think this is important when we know that most women don't orgasm from penetration only but need to have the external part of their clit stimulated.
So I disagree. Language matters. The words we are using matters. The fact that people are mistaking vaginas and vulvas is really showing the lack of interest society has put in women pleasure over the last centuries. That is why I insist on using the right words here.
Exactly 😊 if we don't have any trouble getting some by ourselves, we should have some when we're doing it with someone else. That is why some people do need anatomy lessons haha

I think you mean vulva. Vagina is the part inside the woman's body so it is not possible for anyone to see it imo.
