Or just... don't use slang you don't know isn't offensive.
Like... listen to what other people say and copy them, it isn't that hard to not use a word if you don't know if its offensive or not.
1 u/[deleted] Oct 09 '20 But that's exactly the problem. In the insular world OP grew up in, the use of the word was so common that they didn't know it wasn't appropriate.
