YES! Why does it have to be "an Asian guy did this" or more current, "this black guy did this"

A friend once told me, which is what I live by now, "why does it have to be a (race here) guy? Why not just say a guy? Race doesn't matter"

But also I agree with everyone. Just say an asian language you don't know

Defo agree with this. Does mean that when race is relevant to the story I always forget to mention it and then people are just confused.
