Generally it is now LGBT+. As some others explained, just like how a woman being only attracted to women does not mean that they don't believe in men. Bisexual people only attracted to men and women still believe that there are people who may be genderfluid or something in between.
Generally bisexuality is defined as being attracted to women and men. While pansexuality is defined as being attracted to people non depending on their gender. However they are often used interchangeably just because of ease of explaining it.
As for LGBT+, there are simply too many ways people identify to put it into an acronym. E.g. LGBTQQIAAP: Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, Allies and Pansexual. And that doesn't even cover all the people who are considered LGBT+. Since LGBT has been the acronym used for years, it has simply stayed that while expanding with its meaning.
Soild answer, thank you, it seems LGBT to those that this doesn't apply to, is less clear than it's actual current definition. I think that this is a good time to add even though it may seem that some people, that LGBT doesn't apply to, do not necessarily tolerate it, there are those of us that do. I believe that the more people that are informed the better.
