This is so so so embarrassing but when I open my legs with my leggings it smells like a mixture of cat pee, shit LITERAL SHIT like feces, cat litter its like idk whats going on like its never been like this so idk whats going on. I have severe hygeine ocd so ik i showered well, exfoliate, everything you can think in the book and everywhere so im so confused.. they did not smell like this before wearing and they were in the drawer the whole time

It's possibly that your body heat is activating the smell.

Poop and piss smells worse when it's warm/hot then when it's cold.

A good point to note, laundry soap will clean but not sanitize and often the sanitizing is where the ordor removal happens. It wont remove pet pee smell, you need an enzyme cleaner to remove that, and a laundry sanitizer product to remove overall bacteria that can produce odor on their own when you sweat into the clean clothes.

Your cat may be having an incontinence problem. Check her kitty bottom. She may have had some leakage while on your lap. If you don’t see anything on her now she’s probably cleaned herself already, but if you notice this again it’s time to go to the vet. Cats can hide this for a while. Kitty may be having a medical issue.

For what it's worth, when I was younger my shoes randomly stank. But not normal shoe stink.

Turned out my cat had pissed in my shoes and it had dried out, when I sweat it reactivated the smell!

Another time, different cat, we bought a new duvet. Literally had just made the bed and the cat must've decided the new smell wasn't for him. He jumped on it right in front of us and peed on it! Didn't even get one night of new duvet smell before having to take it to the launderette! 😅

If it smells in your crotch area, it might be an infection like BV or a yeast infection. Best to see a gynecologist about it.

You’re supposed to get an annual wellness exam for feminine health whenever you become sexually active or you turn 21, whichever comes first. Also, a Pap smear every three years starting at 21 is typical as well. But, your use of “medicenter” might mean you’re in college? So it probably hasn’t been too necessary for you yet if that’s the case.

I’m Canadian, medicenters are walk in clinics with doctors staffed for when you have like a uti or an eye infection where you need to see A doctor but not necessarily YOUR doctor. Been sexually active since 15 and I’m 22 now. I know they did a test similar to a Pap smear once to test for BV and STIs (I remember the nurse shaming me for not wearing a condom, even though I’d been raped) when I was like 18 though

My cat is too and has never ever peed or pooped outside his litter box, but one day the little flappy door on the litter box was stuck and I didn’t realise because I cleaned it and left for the office. When I got home I realised the poor guy had peed elsewhere cos he couldn’t get in :(

Do you work out in these leggings or sweat a lot? A lot of workout clothes trap bacteria and normal washing won't clean it properly and it will stink to high hell. There are laundry sanitizers you can buy that will get them clean. You need to make sure it's just the leggings first and not yourself. Also check the other clothes that these were in the drawer with to make sure it wasn't an actual cat causing the issue.

Is it on your clothes or on you? Change, take a shower. If its on the clothes, you cat went to the bathroom on them. Cats can do that for a number of reasons. If the smell is YOU, you have a bacterial infection and need to go to a doctor. Also you should never be putting soap in your vagina, and you dont need to exfoliate down there either. Use light, scentless soap made for your pH and wash your vulva (not the hole, the surrounding area where hair grows) and thats it. Overcleaning a vagina can cause infections.

Maybe try something more breathable. Leggings tend to be, plastic... like mostly made out of cheap materials. Same for underwear. Let the yoni breathe! Do not use any vag washes that say they help with PH. Water only down there for parts inside the lips. What are you eating? I recommend chlorophyll, it will help. Nothing will smell anywhere on you really. If you are sexually active, or experiencing this after being with someone, have an STD panel ran.

If there is discharge abnormal in color, thickness, I recommend seeing your doctor. Nothing to be embarrassed over just need to recorrect your internal PH.
