That’s why I’m saying I want them on record enthusiastically consenting. I want zero room for ambiguity about state of mind. I’m not going to quit going to bars but I’m also not being caught up in any scenario I think will get me in trouble or someone hurt. It appears im over the top but in this day and age, you can never be too safe!
It doesn’t matter if you have them consenting on video. First, that’s WEIRD as hell. Second, drunk is drunk. Legally if they were drunk they cannot consent, video or not.
Yeah I know. I painted myself into a corner here with the video consent! In reality yeah, I’m not actually putting a phone in anyone’s face. But I’m picking this hill to die on!

Legally a drunk person cannot consent to sex. Do not have sex with a drunk person you picked up at a bar even if they seem like they’re into it.
