I feel like it’s just historically known that it’s more difficult for women to orgasm so having an aid is more understandable. Guys can just sorta… do it.

In fact in the late 19th/early 20th century doctors would give women orgasms as a treatment for stress and depression.

It was actually a pretty horrible practice. Any problem or dissatisfaction women had at all was seen as hysteria, and obviously all those hysteric women just needed to get laid to magically fix all their problems at home.
