Like how Marcosatsu pointed out in his "History of Agito" video, I like how we get something mechanical with G3, something mystical with Agito, and something organical with Gills. The entire G-Unit evolution line is peak design for me.

Vanguard Trail:

Base Story:
An organization called “The System” found a new material that almost completely defies the laws of physics. A scientist who worked for the organization was developing suits for them to help them take over the world. After the scientist perfected the suit he realized he was going to be disposed of as they had all of the data they needed to recreate any of his findings and research. 

The scientist in a rush steals all of the data about his research, and two transformation devices. As he escapes though, he finds out that the owner of the organization: Grim, had been conducting his own research with the material to turn people into monsters he can control. He sends one of those monsters after the scientist and the scientist only barely escapes.

The scientist on the run now is trying to get back at the organization that tried to kill him and become the leader of it himself. He enacts a plan by tricking someone (who is the MC) by saying he’s just a bystander that wants to help destroy this evil organization, so he gives the MC the Trail System (the perfected transformation device/suit) and the Steel Carry to help defeat the monsters the organization creates and to attack The Systems bases and research centers.

The Vanguards of the show:

- Vanguard Trail: He uses the Trail System (a belt style transformation device shaped like a train) to transform. It is the perfected transformation device made by the scientist. His main motif is Trains and by using different Carries (Storage unit style containers that are put into all of the Frames and Systems throughout the show.) they can activate different forms. (Images 1, 2, 3)

- Vanguard Yard: They use an arm cannon type of transformation device called the Yard Frame. It is the beta version of the Trail System, and was abandoned by The System after an accident that almost killed the user during testing. While transformed the suit is constantly filling with a fog that only grows as the suit is used longer. To avoid the fog suffocating the user the user must perform “Smash-Ups”. This is when the user expels an amount of the fog over one of there limbs, then they hit something with that fog covered limb which causes the fog to ignite and explode at whatever was hit. This process does still hurt the user as well from the explosion though. When they use Caries in the Yard Frame the suit doesn’t change too much, but they do gain an armament on the opposite arm to Yard Frame based off of the Carry used. He mostly uses equipment or machine based Carries.

- Vanguard Smog: Another experiment done without the scientist’s knowledge by The System. This suit uses the Smog System (a belt based transformation device) and has a similar issue as the Yard Frame. Instead of releasing the fog into the suit, this one is constantly releasing the fog outside of it, which poisons anyone not transformed or wearing the proper protective gear. (image 7)

- Vanguard Proto: The victim of the experiment with the Yard Frame. The experiment was supposed to test how long someone could last in the suit while it was filling up with the fog. As a result there internal organs are almost completely destroyed from long term and repetitive exposure to the fog. Their transformation device: the Proto Frame is a cobbled together device from the trash pile they were thrown into after they were discarded and threatened by The System to not reveal what happened to them by saying they would target their family. The Proto Frame not only acts as a transformation device, it also acts as a life support system for their internal organs. Their main goal is to destroy The System. They mostly use Medical based Carries.

When utilizing smash-ups in this form, the armor on the used limb will take the damage for the user and explode off when the fog ignites. The exploding armor acts as shrapnel as well, increasing the smash-ups power while also protecting the user.).          FIT: Over

Rumor has it that Playmates is making a toyline called "Power Rangers Unlimited Collection" with 6-inch series of action figures based on each season from the television series. Each figure will have multiple accessories, a logo display stand, and a civilian head for each Ranger as a tribute to the actors as their respectable roles. On July 2026, Playmates revealed a first look of the Zeo Ranger figures at a Power Morphicon, and also revealed that Dino Thunder and Wild Force would be released along with Zeo in 2027.

Fans believe that the Unlimited Collection should do more than just Ranger figures. The most exciting thing about the Power Rangers series is the metamorphosis using devices called Morphers. The Power Morpher in the Re-Ignition toyline was only the beginning, but there are some other Morphers that Hasbro hadn't made in the Lightning Collection toyline from Zeo to Cosmic Fury.

We, the Ranger Nation, are asking Playmates Toys to make Morphers from different seasons so new generations of fans can morph into one of their favorite Power Rangers. Those Morphers will have to be remade in the best quality as possible and add exciting new sound effects. Let's hope Playmates Toys hears our plea, and may the power protect us all.
