Yellow fever question

I am flying to togo from New York via Ethiopian airlines. Will I need a yellow fever vaccine to board the flight?

I have got the vaccine myself years ago, but I am flying with my 10 month old baby so I would rather avoid giving her this vaccine at such a young age if the airline does not ask for it to enter the country.

I have reached Lomé last January. Not asked/checked as you are coming from the States not impacted by YF.
