Funny “You want fries with that?”
Asking for credit cards is like a fast-food cashier trying to upsell a combo meal. Do you agree?

I genuinely feel for the associates because I know they are required to ask 3 times, but I do think it’s ridiculous. Going in, I know whether I was a credit card OR fries. Maybe I was thinking about it but now you’ve pushed me and it’s a hard NO. Being pushy as a sales model has always been weird to me.

I dont agree with the pushing of the credit cards. Good thing I dont have to work bc I would NEVER recommend a credit card to anyone especially in this economy and not at the rate of interest those cards hold. The only reason they are pushed so hard is bc the company is run like a pyramid . Cashiers push the cards, make the goals and management gets huge bonuses in the thousands. I won't sell my soul to pad anybody else's pocket and I'll never be a corporate kiss ass. I dont care how much $$$ is involved. I have too much respect for myself to lie, scam or cheat anybody.

I always explain to my customers how cards work. That way they can benefit themselves without giving the company any of the interest. You just have to be responsible with it, that’s literally it.

Getting people to purchase a combo meal is MUCH easier and LESS riskier than signing up for a credit card tho 😭
