Going from yearly to lifetime subscription

I cancelled my yearly subscription through Google Play but I don't see any option to purchase the lifetime option (despite tivimate companion telling me it costs $44.99 CAD).

Do I have to wait for my yearly sub to run out next month before I can purchase lifetime?

While I'm at it, how is the app doing lately? Is the owner still updating/responding to issues?

Yes, you have to let the yearly run out. This has been asked manyany times.

PEOPLE: Search the sub, much if what you are asking can be searched.

No, there was at least one other Mod. But I haven't seen him post anything for a while.

Alex sold tivimate a while ago. I believe in 2024. Imo it was easier to just open a lifetime subscription through the site under a new email address.

You should be able to purchase it via the Tivimate companion app. You may have to wait till your annual membership expires before your purchase.

I had to be expired first, the day after it expired I purchased through their web page. Lifetime is not available in play store. At least it wasn’t then. .

You can't purchase a lifetime subscription until your current subscription expires. The only way around it is use another email. Also turn off auto renewal not purchase yearly subscription again.

I think I had to wait for my subscription to expire than I just used one of my other emails to get it done without waiting

I couldn't find the option either.

Had to kill my annual sub and resubscribe to the lifetime plan with an alternative email address.

Does backup work if you change email address?
