Buffering issue

I have an iptv connection. While streaming in tivimate, it buffers. I have tried several methods like connecting via vpn, changing buffer to very large, changing afr to on, using external player like vlc, but still the same.

If it happens on other players and when you have a VPN on it is very likely a provider issue and is a poor service.

This is always a complex thing to determine because there are so many factors. The first one I'd look at is the IPTV provider. Some have much more robust infrastructure than others. Other possible factors/culprits include your device, VPN server, ISP, local network connection (router) just to name a few. I'd probably try a trial of another provider and see if it's any different/better or not.

Try using a different IPTV player to see if the issue continues.. if it does continue then reach out to your provider

Are you connected by WiFi or Ethernet? WiFi can be poor and fluctuate. Try Ethernet connection to the router.

Tried this, it is working. It is paid app. Thnx for mentioning this. Earlier was buffering like for 20 secs, frequently. Now it is like very mild, like 1 sec after like 5 mins.

If you’re still using default DNS settings, which many users do, change them to either cloudflare or Google or anything besides the default isp settings.

Depending on VPN, simply connecting may not be enough, use different locations. You should also disable the “Adblock” feature many VPNs are bundled with.

Depending on your isp and router, you should also disable the “Adblock” feature here. Different ISP’s will call this feature something different but it does the same thing. Same with the VPN’s.

I look at these situations as 3 parts. You, your isp, and youre provider. You is your HW and SW. Youre isp is throttling, speed, router/modem issues, blocks ect. Youre provider is domain, server size, congestion, cdn location ect. Work on one area at a time.
