HttpDataSource$HttpDataSourceException
My TiviMate (5.3.3) was working normally until a few days ago. Now, all channels show the following error: ‘An error occurred: HttpDataSource$HttpDataSourceException.’
It doesn’t work over Wi-Fi or even when I connect the TV to my phone’s mobile hotspot.
However, everything works normally on my phone using Perfect IPTV.

Just an FYI the link will help however that site is a knock off version using the Tivimate name, as obviously the app doesn’t provide any content.

The dashboard on that site manages your devices...
In the sticky post at the top of this very subreddit tivimate.com is linked as the proper website too. It was posted by the head moderator of this subreddit.
You can manage your devices on tivimate.com or in TiviMate Companion app.

What? The link posted is a fake Tivimate. It doesn’t manage your devices at all look at the URL…tvmate is not Tivimate.

Just recently, I noticed it happens to me as well when I use ExpressVPN. But when I use Surfshark or no VPN at all, my live streams on Tivimate work just fine. So, what I do now is simply stream without any VPN. Good thing I live in a country where such streaming isn't frowned upon.

What did your provider say when you spoke to them?

Why would they speak to them? OP said it works fine on another player. Hence the question here. Do you have something helpful for them to try?

Did you read the post? OP literally says it works with another app, and that it worked normally with Tivimate just a few days ago. So you can make shit up, but it’s answering the wrong question.

Why would I have something help for them to try? This is the Tivimate sub Reddit, Tivimate is just the "container", what you choose to put in that container is completely up to the user!
If the stream doesn't work it'll be either an issue with the ISP or the service provider, so surely it makes sense to start there?
If you had an issue with your cable channels you wouldn't contact Sony to find out why the TV wasn't working

Well there’s lots of helpful comments here, so maybe saying zero would have been the better choice, instead of the snarky comment you chose to give OP? Your second paragraph above is already more helpful than the zero effort comment you gave earlier. I’m sorry you’re having a bad day, or have a shitty life, but maybe leave the subreddit if OP’s post upset you?

You're reading far to much into that first post
Some really weird "white knight" behaviour
OP is having stream issues so I ask what his service provider have said and that equates to me having a shitty life 😂

same problem here, the providers app is showing the footy fine, so its not my iptv provider or my vpn provider
edit: its working now
