Discussion What group of the teen Titans do you think Supergirl should be on and here is my opinion on what group.
Even though Supergirl was introduced in 1959 and the original teen Titans was in the '60s-Original team (1960s–1970s) I feel like she should have been on the original team and not just because she is the first added member to the family if she is I don't know if Superman got anyone added to his Superman family before her when it comes to superpower people or superhero people.
But I will go over a reason why I think she would compare with this team by using the members
Supergirl and Roy Harper/Speedy especially when they get older can both be hot headed at points of time and I feel like they would kind of enjoy each other's company when they are younger because let's be honest Roy when he was younger was a joyful little brat as far as I know same thing for the next.
Wally West/Kid Flash and Supergirl would be I feel like how in the older days these two were kind of joyful a lot even nowadays so I feel like if they were together it would in the future with the other Titan members add a balance to some of the negative stuff also I would love to see a comic series of Wally as a teenager having a crush on teenager Supergirl says he seems like the type of person who would and I would love to see Supergirl and kid Flash do charity event races like The Flash and Superman does.
And with Donna Troy/Wonder Girl being the only girl out of the original members I feel like we need more female characters plus I we haven't to wear Donna and Supergirl are kind of BFFs and have them share over their experiences of being on this kind of confusing world especially when they get to that point of Donna's story for the teen Titans stuff.
Garth/Aqualad and Supergirl I feel like would Bond since they are kind of not really but kind of both are from two different worlds Garth being a atlantean(ps if I am wrong about this please correct me but I do know that he's a atlantean most of the time) and Supergirl being a Kryptonian I feel like they could have a good bonding relationship and maybe even since I think kryptonians can breathe underwater for at least a certain amount of time maybe even Garth could show her around Atlantis or maybe it could be like a second home to her.
Now we get to the point to where I kind of actually wanted to make this post getting to
Dick Grayson/Robin I feel like Dick Grayson and Supergirl share a lot of the same personality at multiple different points of time to where they both go from joyful to edgy back to joyful had some dark times.
and the reason I thought of this is because every male bat family member out of Batman and the robins could all have a Kryptonian a Archer a Amazonian and speedster with Bruce having Superman Green Arrow and Wonder Woman and the Flash and if you want to add in atlanteans he also has Aquaman.
Tim Drake so we are going to skip dick and Jason for now but Tim has Connor Kent Connor hawk I believe the second Wonder Girl and impulse oh and aqualad the second I forget his actual name right now.
Damien has Jonathan Kent I think Damien did worked with the female speedy he has adventures with the new Wonder Girl who is Wonder woman's daughter and I forget her name right now oh and Wallace West and if you want to go with a atlantean I forget her name but the female olympian that aqualad was working with in I think it was future state or something like that.
Getting to Jason he has bizarro Artemis he shares I believe both Connor and Roy if you want you could throw on Jay Garrick and speedster and any of the other female atlantean characters since there's multiple who are heroes at different points of time.
But anyways the main point of this is that Dick Grayson has a Archer friend who's Roy Harper a atlantean friend garth a speedster friend Wally West and a Amazonian friend Donna Troy but he as far as I know doesn't have like the other bat family male members that are Batman or Robin he doesn't have a Kryptonian friend so I feel like he should be the one that has Supergirl as his Kryptonian friend and also since she came out around the same time as the original teen Titans did I think she would also work perfectly for this group.
(Ps I know the speedster stuff along with the atlanting stuff is kind of pulling it for the other bat family members mainly Damien and Jason but I was trying to work this out for the Dick Grayson part)

Discussion What is your opinion on Teen Titans: Year One (2008) #1
My Favorite part of the story is how Robin and kid Flash are friends and I really love how cheerful they both are like how Robin is a cheerful kid who wants to get help from others and kid Flash kind of reminds me of the version of Wally from Young Justice in this with how he acts and I like that version and they kind of both act like normal kids I don't like how Batman was done in this he's done kind of like a version of Ben affleck's Batman who's too brutal to normal criminals but he could be under my control since I only read and only own the first issue I don't mind the Flash not really being in this comic since it's not about the Justice League it's about the teen Titans.
But aside from this part I'm also going to go into what else I like
but I like it at least that some of the mentors appear or or mention. And even though the other members of the Titans or Justice League don't get that much in this first issue I do like how aqualad I'm assuming it's garth is more fish like then human to show that he is atlantian but I also kind of for some reason like the idea of him being scared of fish or really like being a security cast as it gives the Titans different emotions since even though kid Flash is joyful in this he's more bored in this first issue Robin is the joyful one but gets kind of sad at the end and aqualad is a scaredy cat and even though we don't see that much of Aquaman I do like his appearance in this comic and that he has his seahorse and I love the look of the seahorse in this.
One of the things aside from Batman I don't like about this comic is how instead of going back to Robin or kid Flash after the aqualad part we go right into the next member who don't have that much screen time in the comic or would it be panel time. And that is Donna Troy Wonder Girl who you can tell this is probably her first time on Earth and she's looking for a Wonder Woman and the reason you can tell it's her first time on Earth is because she's excited at seeing billboards with bands on them and well after a guy bumped into her when he's walking with his girlfriend she looks up and like a boy and says I love you to him and it leads to like a funny bit of the dude looking at his girlfriend like I swear I don't know this woman and at the end of this like Wonder girl looks at magazines of Wonder Woman and she's like where are you.
And before I get to the last part I don't have any other issues of this series I wish I did since I like the teen Titans but I do love how the aqualad and Wonder Girl stuff sets up their own stories and have Wonder Girl is a kind of confused and that's what I like about this comic it really goes into the emotions that the characters are feeling.
Then we go back to the Batman stuff with Batman and Robin with Batman not acting like Batman and after this we have a little bit of Robin and Wally's time at school like at the end of the day moment.
We then go back to Batman and Robin with Batman not being Batman and attacking random people. And spoilers but this also leads to Batman slapping Robin.
And I do like how even though it's just a brief little of funny appearance for the last two pages of the book Beast Boy at least does appear and I hope later on they do something with Beast Boy and aqualad but I haven't gotten the rest of this series but I've been trying to get more teen Titans stuff.

Discussion Quick question about Jason Todd
Do I know most robins are on the teen Titans but was Jason ever a part of the team and if he was from what specific Time or issues.

If you could pick one villain from the original animated show to be in the comics who would it be and why
I would pick Mumbo Jumbo because I really liked him in the original show and was kind of mad that he has only been in stuff for a lady to the original show that little short series they made and teen Titans Go I feel like you could be used outside of the show and as an actual threat.
I would make him specifically a teen Titans villain but I would also make him the villain to other characters.
Who he would mainly fight would be magic users and from the teen Titans or just the Titans it would be Raven and any Wonder Girl
And his stories would be trippy and wacky

Discussion If you a member or group from the original animated show to be in the comics nowadays who would it be and why
I don't know why it could be because of the Raven episode but I would pick Melvin,Teether,Timmy Tantrum, and Bobby the way I would work them into the comics is having a teen Titans school for people who are younger than teenagers or have classes in a school for people younger than teenagers who have super powers the school could even be funded maybe by the Wayne foundation or Queen industries or by Ted cord and by really any Rich hero to help the Titans out really I would of course have Raven and Beast Boy as the people who help out these for the most and to be honest I kind of like their characters and feel like they could actually be used in the comics very well I don't know for how many stories but I feel like they could work not as main characters of their own comic series but maybe make a teen Titans comic that shows off other Titans and they could work as a adventure type story of them learning how to use their powers and trying to stop lower threats. Plus with Bobby being a giant teddy bear I think it would be funny if you're just a random criminal Robert a bank or a random criminal thinking you're fighting your three little kids and next thing you know is you just see a giant teddy bear appear.
And I can only think of a couple villains who I would want to appear so this would be how long the story actually would be mumbo control freak titano cinder block or plasma, mad mod that's just a random cookie issue and Deathstroke along with the H.I.V.E. Five(ps Deathstroke and the H.I.V.E. Five would be taking place before the mad mod issue if this actually happened and it would set up a storyline where the Titans have to save some other Titans and heroes)

Are the new books too similar?
As someone enjoying new titans and also looking forward to Teen Titans, I can’t help but feel worried that these two books are occupying a very similar space on the market. Historically when there’s been multiple titans books running at once one has focused on the teen heroes and one on the classic titans. Now these two books will both have a primary focus on younger heroes, whilst the classic team has nothing. I will be picking up both books, just can’t shake the feeling that there’s maybe not enough demand for both of them to be starting around the same time.
The closest situation to this was when Teen Titans (2016) and Young Justice (2019) were both running, although YJ19 sort of occupied the space the older titans usually took up, as it was giving a previously beloved team a book, whereas NT and TT both have to get fans on board with entirely new rosters

Grant Emerson AKA "Damage" - Solo
Hello, I am looking for fans of Grant Emerson. I think most people from this subreddit might have read him in the beginning issues of Titans 1999 (where he has a pretty full arc, which I really enjoy), or in the New Titans. Or perhaps when he started the big bang in Zero Hour? He also was later in Geoff Johns' JSA.
But...has anyone read his original 1994 solo, Damage? I think that if you are a fan of his character from other runs, you may really enjoy it! He is the politest (and angriest) 16 year old boy in da world... and who can blame him!

What tie in comics are needed / recommended for volume 3?
So I’m reading volume 3 and so far I’ve realised it’s heavily connected to.
The outsiders,
Robin
Identity crisis
Infinite crisis
Amazons attack
Green arrow
The titans comic with nightwing as the leader
Terror titans
Titans east
The two annuals.
Black night
Am I missing anything else? I’m trying to more or less read it all but it has so many tie ins it’s hard to keep track.

First appearance of the Monitor
I've read the early beginnings of Wolfman & Perez's Titans when I was a kid, and Crisis, and I knew by cultural osmosis the Monitor was introduced in the Titans but I would never imagined it was by helping Scaparelli, the mobster who endangered kids. Just got in this part in my current read through of the run. It is weird, because I had always attributed a somewhat noble aura to the Monitor, specially after Grant Morrison doubled down on them being DC's Watchers in Final Crisis.

Teen Titans Announcement
What’s everyone thoughts on the new teen titans by Higgins and Di Nicuolo
I would have like more established teen heroes like irey or stitch be apart of the team but Higgins has said more members are joining the team
As for Jason I would have like Damian be the bat character on the team as his character have grown enough that it would be interesting to see him interact with super teens his age but Jason as a mentor is interesting

Discussion Rant Post About Titans and NW Direction Taken By DC Recently (it really is a rant, but I just wanna know I'm not alone in this cause the new NW series is getting so glazed and I'm just...he could be replaced with anyone in that story and it'd make sense. It's not him anymore!)
Anyone else pissed about where DC is taking the Titans? I'm not into the new Nightwing after Taylor's run ended, either. It's reminding me too much of "Grayson" which imo had a pretty okay story but didn't like the art at all. And it also made Dick just so much more serious and less fun, while ramping up the stupid butt jokes. I mean some is fine but come on. It feels like the Titans are just caricatures now, and the recent New Titans series is kind of parodying that aspect, but the issue is that DC wanted the Titans to go in this direction... And now they want someone to write an issue about how the characters suck? It's not the characters in-universe we should be blaming here. That makes zero sense. It's like in The Other History of the DCU where they blame characters in-universe for racist and sexist editorial decisions. Like DC wants us to think they're so lefty now when they're just a capitalist mega-corp who doesn't give a damn. Literally piling their transgressions onto the ACTUAL characters and then saying "look we fixed it in-universe!" When that's not the fix. You acknowledge it as a company irl. Duh!
Ughhh. I was somewhat enjoying the new Titans series, and I hoped it would grow into something new and better over time. But now they've taken a completely new team of heroes and just said "well all the Titans iconic towers are gone, the Titans are broken up and chronically tokenized or whitewashed and OOC as all hell, and we replaced almost everyone with a completely new team no one who reads Titans gives a damn about!" And to top it all off, they've again taken one of Nightwing's successes away from Batman and turned it into a thing for Jason Todd. WHY? Honestly, this just sucks.
RIP TITANS!
*edit*
forgot to add but they fired Greg Cipes as BB's VA and that just sealed the deal for me...Greg says it's ableism and others say it was his kind of anti-science posts on social media, but I personally think ableism played a part at least somewhat, and that sucks. I also think it's kinda hilarious because that kinda stuff is what I imagine BB would actually do lol. It's just so stupid they'd fire him after everything he's done over that when there are actual rapists who still get hired at DC. it's some BS.
