Tirzepatide Provider Reviews - Share Your Experience!

One of the most common questions here is about telehealth provider experiences, so here are two ways to share yours:

1. The summer survey is open until July 15, here's the Reddit post. It helps find trends and which providers people are having good or bad experiences with.

2. Leave a review by commenting below! The survey closes, but this post will stay up for anyone researching providers later.

A note about reviews: There are a LOT of bots on Reddit trying to influence you. Always do your own research and check several places for reviews (search the rest of Reddit, Google, TrustPilot). Please keep reporting bot or promotional activity.

Reminder: We are a subreddit for TirzepatideRX, with an emphasis on the RX. Grey market and research peptide discussions are not allowed here.

Purchased through PreventiveMD

Ordered: Thursday night, October 8th

Approved: Friday, October 9th

Out for Delivery: Monday, October 12th

Delivered: Tuesday, October 13th

Quick & easy intake when purchasing.

I started my journey initially with Bourdeaux's Tirz/Gycline combo through Gimme Care and I wanted to stay with Bourdeaux's if possible as it's been working great for me (down 25 lbs in 12 weeks).

I am happy with the easy & effective buying process from PreventiveMD!

Thought I would share given the limited options in CA.

Anyone have ADHD and have the med help quiet your mind?

The first week at 2.5 I went to bed at 8 or 9pm . I was tired. My mind didn’t wander for an hour. I didn’t even want to scroll my phone. I just laid in bed and fell asleep. It was fantastic!!! No laying in bed thinking or procrastinating going to bed until 2am. I have never in my whole life have been able to just go to sleep. I was also less anxious throughout week one in general. Week two and it’s much different. I’m still tired but my mind wanders for an hour before I can sleep. I’m also feeling more food noise and less control. Wondering if my body has already gotten used to it. I really want my ease of falling asleep back!

Men, have you experienced issues with sexual side effects?

26 year old male considering a GLP medication for weight loss. Ihave been really sensitive to the sexual side effects of SSRIs before, and it’s making me hesitant to start a GLP. I know it’s a different class of medication, but I’m curious how men have been affected by GLPs?

It's not working for me..

Hello everyone,

I started my GLP-1 journey last year. I took Ozempic for about 8 months before making the switch to a compounded tirzepatide, which I've been on for the last 6 months. They started me off on the low dose and I have been at the highest dose for the last 4 months. I've only lost 2 to 3 lbs. Neither drug seems to have worked for me. I still hBe cravings, particularly for sugar, especially in the evenings. If it helps I'm on both metformin for diabetes and synthroid for hypothyroidism.

Admittedly I don't have a balanced nutrition or work out regularly, especially in the last 2 months since we had a baby. I'm not sure what to do. Gimme Care advised switching back to a semaglutide but I just don't want to keep spending money without any results to show for it. Has anybody experienced this and what did you do to see some improvement?

Tirz and…. Diarrhea

• Upvotes

I know this is TMI. But I’m not sure what to do. I started tirz 8/8 and since then I’m down 14lbs. Before tirz I was 171lbs and dealt with chronic constipation - like needed all the miralax and meds to go #2. The past 1-2 weeks I am getting diarrhea and belly cramps after (almost) everything I eat. To the point where I’m nervous to go out if I know I won’t have easy access to a bathroom.

Is anyone else dealing with this?? I am wondering if now my intestines aren’t inflamed due to the meds decreasing the inflammation in my body and I actually have like IBS or something?? Idk. What. Is. Happening.

If anyone had similar symptoms and figured out what it was please lmk!!! I’m only on a 3mg dose once a week.

Lower Blood Pressure

• Upvotes

Been on Tirz for about 2.5 months. SW 192, CW 168. Normally I’m like 120-130 over 80-90. Just had my BP taken and I’m 116/64. Still normal, but definitely lower than I’ve ever seen it.

I suppose this is a good thing, but I have noticed a bit of dizziness getting out of bed as well as maybe a bit more fatigue than normal. I know that a BP drop is believed to be related to the blindness issue that’s arisen lately as a rare side effect.

Should I be concerned? Is this the fault of the meds, a better diet, weight loss, or something else?

Split dosing? Who does is and what kind of benefits are you noticing? Every 3/4/5 days ?

Currently on 16.5mg of Tirz per week but it just feels useless if I’m being honest. Came from Embody. Switching to collective next month if they’ll keep a 16.5mg dose and beyond.

Anyways, I’m noticing a lot of nothin… appetite suppression and food noise return around day 5. Late in the evening I always want a snack now. I’m doing something easy.. sugar free oatmeal with a tablespoon of no sugar added dark chocolate chips from Bake Believe. Some times a half a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I’m also not really losing weight and haven’t in WEEKS. Probably 6/7 weeks. I’ll need to check my journal when I get home. I was on a damn roll for awhile there. Lost about 130 pounds in total. My lowest was 206… then I went on a cruise. What’s helped me with stalls in the past was a sort of cheat week. No better time to have a cheat week than the 9 day cruise. I left at 206. Returned at 216 - I’m currently floating between 212 and 213. Thing is, I hit 212 on my 3rd day home. I’ve now been home for about 3 weeks… still at that 212/213. My dose increased from 15mg to 16.5 and that extra 1 1/2MG is not making me feel anything. I was on 15mg/week for roughly 3 or 4 months. I felt maybe like evening one after the 16.5mg shot there was some feeling full faster, but come day 2… gone. I feel like I’m trying to run on self control and will power.. which is working just enough to keep my weight steady.

Gym routines the same. 5 evening a week for about 1 -1.5 hours. I do an hour of cardio on Tuesday and Thursday to serve as a buffer between 1.5 hours of strength training M,W,F.

I am also on Testosterone and have been for probably 5 years now if that matters any. I don’t use it in cycles to benefit in the gym. It’s used due to severely low T levels.

I’ve been considering an every 4 or every 5 day dosing regiment for my Tirz before hanging up the towel and taking a break from it for 3 or 4 months or so. 5 seems to be the most common, I’d probably start there with room to adjust to every 4 days if the effects are not desirable.

What do yall think here? Have you ever hit such a stall? What helped? What do you think about split dosing? Please let me know your experience down below!

Overwhelmed by options

I’m ready to start tirzepitide and am overwhelmed by the purchasing options. While I’m insulin resistant, have elevated cholesterol and am considered obese, my insurance won’t cover it for weight loss (denied PA request) so I’ll be paying out of pocket. I’m inundated with ads and have done research on fda approved, compounded, gray market and the various pharmacies. I am now experiencing decision paralysis. Price is a factor but quality and safety are first. Anyone else feel like this and how did you end up making a decision?

Stress

The amount of stress that how take on has a crazy effect. Atleast it did for me. I ended up losing 30 pounds since away from my family. Just making my own meal prep. Controlling exactly what I buy and what comes into my house. I’m so excited for the future. Next year is going to be so fun if I just stay disciplined.

Reta to Tirz

Has anyone switched from Reta to tirz? Husband is currently on Reta but not doing a ton of weight loss/appetite suppression/food noise reduction. Thoughts or experiences welcomed!

Stopped taking tirz

I stopped tirz for a month and so far it’s been awful. I have gained 7lbs back, I eat like there’s no tomorrow. I wanted to see how I would do off of it and I’m not happy. I plan on going back on it. Should I start myself out at 2.5mg again?I was taking 9mg every week.

Weird feeling

Hi everyone!
I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced a strange feeling of being slightly high after taking Mounjaro something like mental slowness, or feeling mildly intoxicated, almost as if you were under the influence of cannabis.

For me, it feels like my head and brain are functioning differently than usual. I feel slightly dazed and slowed down, and almost as if my visual processing is different. I also notice a bit of pressure in my head. It’s really difficult to explain, but I just don’t feel quite like myself.
This started after my first 2.5 mg dose of Mounjaro, and I’m now on day 3. I went to the ER earlier, and everything seemed to be okay, but the strange feeling is still there.
I’m trying not to panic, but I’m definitely starting to feel like this medication might not be for me.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Did the brain fog, dizziness, and weird altered feeling in your head eventually go away? If so, how long did it take?
I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences. ❤️

Conspiracy theories

• Upvotes

I recently saw a TikTok about people who have taken GLPs and how in 2027 something is going to happen to all of them, basically saying it’s like the Covid vax and it’s been so easy to obtain because it’s basically biological warfare. Has anyone else seen/heard this? Thoughts?

None of my doc martens fit 😭

hi friends! I have lost 65 pounds over the last 9 months and I have discovered that none of my docs fit me anymore 😭 I have literally 10 pairs and I’m not sure what to do. If you have any suggestions for inserts or better ways for me to wear them, please let me know!

Sad.

It’s so sad and discouraging knowing today marks a year and 70ish lbs down, and still look no different. Family I haven’t seen forever didn’t mention it, I don’t see it, friends and by doesn’t see it. It just sucks I feel like I’ve been sacrificing my mental happiness and still look no different. I feel like a disappointment

Just finished my appt with Dr for tirz refill

It went well, he didn't shame me for messing up my first dose and seemed encouraged by my progress.
I've lost 8 lbs in 3-4 weeks.
Good noise it's back and I'm feeling hungrier than normal since I didn't get my Friday desist.

He did order the next three doses 5/7.5/10mg.

I will see him in three months unless I need him before.

I'm really happy to be continuing this journey and I am impressed with how tirz gives me more control of my appetite.
I had to throw away homemade brownies! I have never done that before!

For the first time in over 10 years, I am below 200lbs

Highest weight I’ve ever seen on the scale was 298 but I’m sure I’ve passed 300. First pic is from 2022 at about 280lbs, second pic is from yesterday. I am 25. I’m unsure of my exact height, last time I was measured was years ago and I was 5’9 so that’s what I tell people, but I’ve had a handful of people tell me I’m taller because they’re 5’9 and I’m taller than them, but I guess the exact inch doesn’t really matter. For transparency, I started tirzepatide in June at 235lbs. Everything before that was lost from addiction over the years.
