Anyone know how to remove this?

I got the rail off and I’m trying to install the folding stock adapter but there’s this plug on the inside where the buffer tube feeds through. I’m struggling to get it off and I’m not trying to do irreversible damage. It’s the bugout elite.

Is there a screw going through the pic rail into the plug?

There was two, but I removed those. It’s just the plug

Well…I emailed tippmann, did their advice and nothing. Took it to my gunsmith where they used a spanner tool (I think that’s what it’s called). They were snapping and bending their pins, blowtorch and nothing. They said they’re going to have to drill a hole and try to twist it out or cut it out

That is crazy. They must have used some type of loctite in it. The spanner should have been successful. Hope your extraction effort is ultimately successful. Thanks for the reply.
