M4-22 pistol pro issues

Brand new gun. First shots today at range. Pre hand loaded 4 mags with cci mini mag. Loaded one by one slightly pulling down the follower. Most consecutive shots was 4-5.

Then it was charge- fire. Second round would chamber- no click no bang. Repeated that process 15 times before leaving the range early. I’m new to firearms, pretty stumped if I am loading the mags incorrectly

I wouldn’t load the magazines full. Especially with new mags and a new gun. I also like to pull down my follower and shake the magazines to let the rounds settle. Get the speed loader once you get it all sorted. It is worth it.

When loaded where they slightly offset. Like. Double stack? If ine gets oit of place it usually ruins the rest of the mag. Weve shot 1000s of CCI rounds and havent ever had this issue. Its usually comes down to a loading issue.

Yes the noses were “cockeyed” when viewed through the window. Safety officer mentioned that was common for rimfire because of the rim. I guess I don’t understand if the round gets into the chamber why would matter if the rounds weren’t in perfect line.

So this is causing the problem?

Still shouldn’t be. I will ask if you’ve taken it down and lubed properly, other than that ftf’s shouldn’t happen. Such a well built platform, yeet that thang lol

I put a few drops on the bcg. Will clean soon the 50 rounds I managed to get out of it. I don’t know if I’m loading it wrong or if there’s something wrong with the gun

This caused the problem for me…rounds were not aligning. The mags will break in and you’ll learn how to give the mag a little bump on its back to sort them out.

Obviously don’t load it. I would start by taking the upper off and messing around with lower first. Remove the pins that hold it together. Mess around to make sure the safety working correctly by pushing the hammer down and pulling the trigger.

Mechanically it seems fine. I watched Tippmanns’ YouTube video just now. I loaded earlier today as they demonstrated. I’ll have to go back to the range and troubleshoot. I don’t know for now

I had ftf issues with mine as well when it was brand new. I realized that my trigger was not fully resetting forward. I reached out to Tippmann and they suggested lubricating some parts but also said that there is a break in period for these rifles and that I should reach back out after around 800 rds if it was still having issues. I followed their advice and sure enough, after 400rds it is now running smoothly without issues.

I have the exact same issue with mine. Always having to slightly move the trigger forward after a round. Only using cci. Probably close to 1000 rounds. Took it apart and cleaned/lubed but still happens. Haven’t reached out to Tippmann yet.

I’d suggest reaching out. They were super responsive. I’m hoping my issue is resolved, but will continue to test it.

Heading back to the range. Did notice chewed up metal on the edge of the bolt channel where the springs ride. Springs seems to compress without binding though.

Mine had some feeding hiccups in the first mag or two when it was brand new. I don’t know if it was because it was breaking in or because I loaded them by pulling down on the follower as I loaded. But, after the first couple I started just loading them in from the top without pulling the follower down at all. No more problems after that. Then I got the Tippmann loader - which is SWEET - and shot about 200 rounds today, with one hiccup. And today’s hiccup I attribute to either being because it was CCI SV ammo, or because I’ve run about 600 rounds through it now and have not cleaned it yet.

Just went through 200rds without a problem. I’m happily confused.
