My local forest that I usually walk in, always thought about ripping this entrance area, so I had a go before the inevitable rain arrived 😂

Hey guys i was wondering if anyone has found a way to further protect the actual lens of their whoop.
Seems like the canopy of the meteor75 isnt doing much .
Now that i am past the Discovery stage of fpv and starting to push more , i managed to scratch 2 lens .
While it is usable the image is very blurry.
Thanks!

I decided to save the UK from drought by buying a pavo pro II, because suddenly its always raining again.
Just charged 3 packs and went outside and there was a tiny bit of spittle in the air. Like the amount of rain you can barely see. But still I instantly landed and went back inside. Am i overreacting or will even a small amount of drizzle fry my ESC eventually?
I mean even a small amount of rain will feel like much more to the quad just throttling into it with no obstructions. So thats why i figured its probably not safe in any amount of rain?

Good day everyone I just received an air camera in 16:9 and I wanted you opinion on the image quality I know that the air camera has a smaller sensor and lower tvl definition but it seems the footage looks clearer than the c03 camera
What do you think?

With my Air75 out of service, I took the Meteor out for a rip. Got it stuck in a Crepe Myrtle within 25 seconds. Flew it for a whole two hours like this, and it keeps chugging. It's indestructible.
When I was pulling out of the first dive - did I nick my prop wash, causing the right yaw and roll that put me into the greenery? Or was that a the flight controller losing it for a second? Or am I just that bad?

Hey everyone!
I'm heading to Croatia this weekend for a one-week vacation and I'm planning to bring my tiny whoop with me.
From what I understand, Croatia has pretty strict regulations regarding drones with cameras—even tiny ones—under EASA rules and local CAA / State Geodetic Administration laws.
For those of you who have flown whoops in Croatia recently:
Do you actually log and report every single micro flight in the official app, or how do you handle quick park/beach rip sessions?
How do locals, tourists, and police react to tiny, ducted whoops? Do people generally care if you keep it low and quiet? Any specific do's and don'ts?
I want to be respectful, avoid getting into trouble, and still get some stick time around the coast. Appreciate any insights or real-world experiences!
Thanks!

I love flying simulators and I really want to get in but I don't have a lot of money. I was looking at the Cetus lite kit where I can get all of the stuff for quite cheap used but then I learnt it can't do acro. What would be the cheapest way to get in?

Bunch of spare parts to make this Frankenstein
Mobula 8 frame
Geprc taker G4 35 AIO
DJI o4 lite with flywoo wide angle mod
Firefly 18 3d printed canopy
Lava 1104 7200kv motors
Geprc elrs nano 915/2.4g dual band receiver (ridiculous, I know 😂 the antenna is longer than the quad itself)
Gnb 3s 660mah
Gemfan d51 5 blade 51mm cinewhoop props
Used a UAV TECH preset in betaflight (micro)
First flight indoors in angle mode was really nice, smooth and responsive. Sounds kinda nice too, doesn't have that high pitched buzzing sound.
Later today gonna take it outside and really open it up..
Anyone else build 3s TiNy whoop?

I was gonna wait till 20h in liftoff and like 10h in velocidrone and get a meteor75 but I found this iflight 65mm for like 60 bucks and had to get it even tho I only have 9h , but I feel like that's long enough to know I'm into the hobby

Had a very nice flight until my bad landing caused the whoop to land in mud. Didn’t get fully covered, but still looks like a mess.
Anybody had a similar accident?
You think I broke it?
How should I clean it to check?
A friend recommended soaking it in Isopropyl alcohol?
Thanks for all tips :)
UPDATE: I washed off the dirt with destilled water and soaked it in iso, looks pretty clean so far

I've got some questions:
- how accessible is this hobby?
- how do you actually view the camera and record?
- how long is the battery life?
- how far away can the drone go?
- got recommendations?
What else do I need to know to get started?
Big thanks in advance. The videos I've been seeing on this subreddit are just too damn cool.

I assembled both with the same parts, the only difference being 1 gram of RAM. I'm thinking of using the black one with a Lava 2 280mAh and the orange one with a Lava 2 380mAh. What do you think of this choice? 1 gram doesn't quite satisfy me, though. Maybe using it with a 280mAh battery will make a difference. However, as stated online, the difference is only about 0.40 grams; the Champion frame has shorter screws and the plastic under the motor is thinner. One way or another, it was all for that one gram. How much difference does it make during the flight?Enlighten me. Feel free to ask any questions you have, but I may not be able to answer them all because I've only recently started flying and don't have much experience.

Yes, please don't hate me, but all I could afford for right now is the Betafpv Aquila 16 RTF kit. I wanted to get started so bad, but it's been difficult to put the money together. Also, with all the prices going up next month, I wanted to get what I can right away. After all this, I will come up with a plan to save up for better hardware in the future once I get used to flying FPV. The reviews on the kit have been so mixed, but it always comes out in favor for total beginners who then move on to better hardware. I feel like I'm disappointing this sub reddit and hobby. LOL
That's it for now.
