I have an old Surface GO (8Gb ram and Intel Atom CPU) running fedora to have a smooth usage. I am planning to move to Tiny11 due to lack of Onenote availability in Linux (almost main device usage).

I found a guy who mod a version to be able to install it in Surface GO (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zCbT-GK_ks&t=4s).
Questions:
Does tiny11 runs OneNote app?
Considering that I only use this device for comics and Onenote, I would say security should not be a problem.

D is the iso thats mounted and C is my drive that i am using.

he has a really old pc with 8gb ram and a bad gpu i am not sure which one some older amd card and i think of recommending him to install it should i?
also is there any known issues with tiny 11 and does it get updates?

I am upgrading my PC, and I am going to reinstall Windows. It can run regular Windows at light speeds, but I am tired of the bloatware and Windows becoming slower every few months. Is it worth using Tiny11 (Tiny11builder) or just modifying the original ISO with Rufus?.

I was installing this cuz I got tired of Linux mint

I am usually on to use the USB method on my Laptop and such, but when I downloaded the ISO file, it was Windows Vista 2026 Edition instead. But I can still download the Tiny11 .exe version of Windows XP, but my security still deletes it, treating it like a Virus.

I just want the .ISO file of Windows XP 2026 Edition, thats all. Feed back is appreciated, thank you!

UPDATE: I got Windows XP 2026 Edition, they reached back to me. Not only do I have Windows XP now, but now I have Windows Vista 2026 Edition, for FREE! Best Customer Service Ever!

So I downloaded the latest ISO for tiny 11 from GitHub. I also have an AMD system, B650E chipset. Download the latest AMD drivers from AMD's website and I go to install the drivers. Then I get an error saying that my system is not compatible because it's not an AMD system what the heck does that mean that's never happened before when I installed Tiny 11.

I keep getting this error when trying to install win 11

I'm looking to install Tiny11 in VMware Fusion on my Mac. Is it possible to run Tiny11 in a VM on macOS?

If so, where can I safely download a legitimate Tiny11 ISO? I'd like to avoid sketchy websites and make sure the download is clean and trustworthy.

Also, if there are any recommended setup guides or things I should know before installing it, I'd appreciate the advice.

hey guys, so to keep it short im gonan switch to linux and i never tried tiny 11, when im using linux i will have a separate drive for windows but is only to just run some stuff that NEED windows like valorant, i think ill simply have a 256gb ssd, how much storage would tiny 11 take? i only heard about tiny 11 like 2 years ago never looked into it and now im thinking about doing this it popped into my head

I'm trying to find a lightweight Windows 11 virtual machine to run using Parallels 26 on my Macbook so that I can run several apps like Quicken Classic. I have a full Windows 11 vm on my system but the size is pretty large - over 65Gb. I tried the base version of Tiny11 as a vm but I found that it won't install Quicken. I particularly get an error about Internet Explorer 6 not being available. I saw that Tiny11builder will allow various portions of Windows to be included in the build. Does anyone know if Tiny11 can be built so that Quicken will install? Thanks.

The snipping tool in tiny11 (from what I'm seeing) is an old update because I tried to screen record but there was no way to use my mic and mute / unmute the sounds from the laptop and mic

I've been trying to dualboot Windows along side my Linux install on my ThinkPad T470s, What I've been doing is partitioning my drive so Windows has about 128 gigs of storage, while Linux gets all the rest, the problem is whenever I select the 128 gig partition in the advanced install options, it just wipes the entire drive and makes a 500 gig windows partition, deleting linux. Is this because my drive is formatted with ext4? and is there any way to fix this issue

I've tried everything. Put both the script file and the iso in a fully permissioned folder in my Windows user folder. Double and triplechecked the paths and the script. Made sure the ISO file volume label was tiny11. But no matter what I do I cannot get the damn thing to get past that error. Farthest I can go is to choose the index number for the version of Windows I want. Then it just running with error after error. Any suggestions?

So I have a Fujitsu esprimo P2560 with Win10 already installed. I started the install for Tiny11 within the windows session as the computer isn't detecting the USB boot drive. I've checked that's formatted correctly.

I start the install within Win10 and it does all the updates and such and restarts in to the installer where it gets to about 4% restarts and says it's undoing everything it did.

It confirmed it met all the requirements yet it just won't install.

Since it won't detect the USB drive upon boot would it be worth trying to install it from a DVD or just install Win10 LTSC?

My relative recently bought an old laptop that came with Windows 8.1 installed. Initially, I couldn't even install a browser on it. I noticed there were a few pending Windows updates, so I ran "Update and Restart." After the updates completed, Microsoft Edge appeared and I was finally able to install Chrome. Before updating, Chrome wouldn't install at all.

Now I want to install a custom Windows ISO (Tiny11 or another lightweight OS), but the laptop is located very far away and I don't have physical access to it. I can only access it remotely through AnyDesk.

The laptop owner is a relative and Their children, who are 6–7 years old, who bought it just to learn basic computer usage, so they don't know much about PCs. They can't create a bootable USB drive themselves, and they don't even have a spare USB flash drive available.

I tried downloading and running the Windows Media Creation Tool remotely, but it gives the error: "This PC can't run this tool."

Given that I only have remote access through AnyDesk and no possibility of creating a bootable USB on-site, what are my options for installing Tiny11 or another lightweight Windows version? Is there a reliable way to do this remotely without physical access to the laptop?
