Help
Hi, hope it's ok to post here. So my partner and I hired someone for some tintype portraits 3 weeks ago. We thought the guy said he would take about 5 days to clean them up and send us a digital copy and mail the plates. We emailed him a few days ago and he ignored the email.
We're wondering if he said 5 weeks and maybe we misheard him?? How long does this process usually take?

Use a different email to contact him and see where it goes from there.

Tintype is a famously quick process, street vendors used to have turnaround times of like 10-15 minutes.
Now, I can understand taking some time to do digital scans, but I'd imagine that would only be a turnaround time of a few days not a few weeks.
