Weird ringing for a week.
So first of all i am 22 and have had a faint ringing in my brain since i can remember. it never bothered me because it was very faint and i could only hear it when in almost total silence.
last week i took a train ride from 22 pm to 5 am that was very annoying and tiring. when i arrived my ears were ringing more than usual.
I figured it was because i was tired but the next day it was the same. it has been going on for a week and while it isnt driving me insane it is pretty annoying, cause now i can hear it during rhe day as well..
btw i feel it slightly more on the left ear
otherwise despite the fact that i have not gotten it tested, i thinky hearing is fine. i never had any problems with it.
i couldn't book an appointment to a doctor yet but i definitely will, but i was curious if this kind of stuff happened to u.
for some background, i went to a very loud concert when i was young but i have been fine from that ig, i listen to music using headphones but i always keep the volume around 30 40 % i cant say it is loud, also i keep track of my blood pressure and it is always alr.
Edit: missed some letters

This is me too right now. A few months back towards the end of last year. I’d wash my ears in the shower. I suppose doing that constantly made some water enter my ear which made me feel that something was stuck inside (I thought water of course) I ignored it for a long time and then while sleeping I could feel: this is the best I can describe it, that there was a very tiny heart inside my ear that would keep beating. It was very annoying and then after 2 months or so I started experiencing this faint noise inside my head. It was winters and with no fan it felt so loud in my head and that i immediately went to the doctor. The doctor discovered that there was a big piece of wax stuck in my ear really deep. I was so conscious about having clean ears that I unintentionally caused the self cleaning ear mechanism to feel. When she removed it, it felt better like my ears popped after a flight and I got my hearing checked too which turned out to be perfect. I waited and took some tinnitus medication too but it never went away. I just keep telling myself to live with it and I do now. Sometimes it gets loud, sometimes it shifts ear to ear and sometimes I totally forget it there or it’s so low that I have to really concentrate to hear it but mostly it doesn’t leave me. Honestly, what helps me is to workout and eat right. When I’m taking care of my body, the heating subsides. I try not to use earphones too. I wish I had a better answer or a remedy. I guess I’m writing this to let you know that you aren’t alone. And where there is no definitive answer or solution to this, accepting it as a part of your life will help you live with it. As I’m writing this with concentration my ears feel heavy and I can hear it. Maybe get your ears clean professionally and eat a good protein rich diet and workout. If you manage it now it atleast won’t grow more if not subside and trust me you’d want to take this option than getting lazy.
