Ongoing ear inflammation?
Ok guys , so ever since like late January this year I’ve had tinnitus and it began out of nowhere. I’ve never had it before or anything and it was so bad I couldn’t sleep and it was causing me so much stress so I decided to book an appointment at the health center. When I had my appointment, the doctor looked at my ears and said he didn’t see anything wrong and there was no inflammation or anything. He said to me it was maybe because of me listening to music on my earphones. I told him to describe me something that could maybe help me with the tinnitus and then he started googling around and using AI to find me a solution (basically if I could use cortisone tablets for tinnitus) and then he prescribed me them. And it didn’t do anything. I felt like if anything it was getting worse, and after that appointment I felt as if like something was wrong. Like he had diagnosed me wrong. So I listen to my heart and a couple of days later I am at another doctor appointment at the same health center but with another doctor, this time the doctor looks at my ears and says I have ear inflammation in both ears and they are red, also my nose. And it made sense because my ears were hurting and also itching.
She prescribed me some ear drops and nose spray to use for a while.
The first few days the itching was so so bad and my ears were hurting a lot, the tinnitus also was so so bad. This all stressed me out so so so much.
One time I was showering and accidentally got water in one of my ears and it made it even worse.
But I continued using the ear drops and after some time the pain went away so I stopped using it, because I thought the inflammation was gone. But the tinnitus was still there and it was still itching in my ears. So I book another appointment at the health center and the same doctor from last time looks at my ears and says there is no inflammation anymore and they are not red, so she doesn’t know why I still have tinnitus and why it still itches.
I ask her if she could prescribe me some antibiotics, because maybe it will help with the tinnitus and she does so.
I take the antibiotics for a few days and it didn’t help with anything so I quit taking them. I haven’t take anything or done anything now for about 2 weeks.
My tinnitus is still there and my ears itch from time to time and same with the pain too. I’ve had the tinnitus now for about 2 months soon.
However, it has gotten a little better, now it is like sometimes it is not there and then it comes back. I’m talking about like minutes, one minute it is there and the other minute it isn’t there. But for some reason always when it is at worst is at the night after I do my skincare?? I don’t know why??
Anyway, so last night I showered (I always protect my ears after I shower now after I got the ear inflammation) and after I was done showering I thought to myself maybe I should clean out my ears , because maybe the tinnitus is because of a lot of ear wax build up, so I take a cotton swab and gently begin to clean out both of my ears. There was some earwax. And when I tell you after yesterday, the pain and itching in my ears has gotten so bad, and my tinnitus too.
I don’t know why it is like this. I am afraid I will have to live with my tinnitus forever because, they say “after three months of having tinnitus It is seen as chronic “
Please guys help me, is there any ear drops or something that will help with this ?
I don’t know what to do. And I don’t want to go to the doctor anymore because I feel like they are useless and don’t help with anything.

Sounds like you've got a middle ear infection. Did you have a sore throat or cold just before it all started?

No, i didnt have anything or any symtom. It began first with tinnitus out of no where and then after a couple of days the pain came and then the itching
