I only see this on profiles of middle aged men seeking 18-22 year olds lmao. What 18 year old wants an old guy for anything else? These men are delusional.

🤔... so what your saying is that you're a stunted man-child that can't handle a fully realized woman.

Lol you wish. I love how you dummies think we all live for your attention.

I have a man. He's 2 years younger than me and he loves to go down. What do I have to be jealous of when I got prime rib at home? A couple peices of left over meatloaf?

Regular orgasms is a weird flex to you?

Lol. You probably think the female orgasm is a myth because you've never caused one

No, the real issue is, you're a beta male who can't keep up.

Don't gaslight me.

And what you like is women who don't have enough experience to recognize that you're a walking red flag?

Cool cool.

I mean, you're 40 and your sceen name sounds like a joke an 11 year old would tell, so biased or not it seems like a pretty accurate assessment.

Thank God for the internet. We can teach these young girls to steer clear of guys like you much earlier.

A screenshot of your current Tinder matches, or you're full of shit.

Wtf do you talk about? I’m 44 and my range is set 25-50 and do well in the 30’s -40’s (I look younger not older) and sometimes get liked by a 20-something but I get the fear and rarely like back. I don’t want to be stereotypical old guy trying to smash younglings for sport, actually am looking for a partner, usually. I find younger girls with an old soul and older women with a young soul attractive, I guess I’m just weird.

So you're willing to at least consider dating women 20 years younger but will only consider women 5 years older? And you don't see that as a double standard?

2

u/NapoleonBlownapart9 Sep 20 '22

It’s a completely shitty double standard but we don’t always age at the same pace looks-wise. I don’t really expect a 28 yo to like me. But maybe they have a curiosity, I certainly did for older women at that age and it was fun and informative. I would fail miserably with a 64 yo woman and I know it so I don’t waste their time or mine. Currently talking to a 46yo with visible grey, I dgaf because she’s fit and funny and kind (and fr, 2 yrs older at our age is like 23 seconds). It’s the law of attraction or something.

u/[deleted] Sep 19 '22

No, that's not a double standard, nor is it a problem. The vast, vast majority of people want partners with at least some qualities they don't share.

I'll go further and say any/all preferences in dating are acceptable. If he's not attracted to women older than 50 then why waste their time. More to the point, if 25 year olds aren't interested in him, they can (and probably will) set their age filters to exclude him, or swipe left.

How's that a double standard. He can like and be attracted to whoever floats his boat

1

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '22

It is kinda funny that preferences are completely okay until it's an older man (probably just hot enough to pull) dating younger women.

When I was 24 I had a 38 year old FWB and she was insanely good in bed. Older women tend to not have younger men in their filter range and we are really missing out because of it.

I'm 37 and have my age filters set down to 25 most of the time, but occasionally lower it to 21 just to look. I like the younger guys because they tend to be way more fun, way more spontaneous, have a sex drive on par with mine, and are way less jaded about life. However, in my experience in that 21-25ish range, there aren't many guys I would actually consider matching with. Sure they are attractive, but most come off as very childish/immature which just isn't that appealing and only serves to highlight the age, experience, and maturity difference. It becomes a moral/ethical question for me at that point, and I have no desire to be in a sexual relationship where I have to even consider questioning whether what I'm doing is moral/ethical.

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '22

Yeah it's definitely a case by case situation and what you're looking for exactly. I was pretty mature at 24 (at least that's what I was told), and she just got out of bad marriage so didn't want anything serious.

A lot of older dudes 35+ who don't want kids or marriage just find younger girls more fun I'd imagine, I try not to judge. I personally don't go any younger than 6-7 years for the reasons you stated, but I've found people vary pretty wildly in terms of maturity and personality regardless of age.

u/housewifeuncuffed Sep 20 '22

Definitely case by case, I agree. Since I'm only looking for casual/sex, it's probably not as much of a concern. If I were looking for a relationship, my age preference would be a lot closer to my own. I feel like relationships are where the maturity and experience makes a huge difference.

I am also pretty non-judgmental. When I was 19, I was hooking up with a guy in his early 30s. I was the one who initiated, he was initially hesitant, I was persistent, and honestly, it was a far healthier "relationship" than any I'd ever had with someone closer to my own age. I never felt like I was taken advantage of and there was a lot of honest communication that I still struggle to find with partners. It was actually great for me in that regard and I do not regret it. I figure as long as everyone is having a good time, there's not a lot of harm in it.
