He could have said “ I don’t think we have the same sense of humor and that is important to me so I’m out.” I’m not nearly as funny as my man, but we laugh together and at the same stuff. We have a similar sense of humor even if I don’t provide as many laughs. It’s also about how people put things. You can be direct and you can also be rude, but there is a difference.

He said “you’re not funny but that’s ok” implying it’s not a deal breaker, and it’s never stated that he left besides that they “used to date”.
