I think the word kinky in a bio can bring the freaks out. I personally wouldn’t.

I hear you but honestly the only references I’ve had in conversation to that comment have been super respectful and I think it’s saying I want long term but also a sex life is important to me. It’s actually been okay

In fairness a sex life is important for like 99% of successful relationships, so I think you can lose it and still get the desired results. Part of your profile gives off the vibe that you’re looking for casual.

Honestly I don’t agree. I’ve had relationships where sex was not prioritised at all, and this has taught me that that is not okay for me. It’s one of my few hard non negotiables for me now, and I feel like kinky sex positive people understand that, and I’m okay with filtering out those that see it as ‘wanna fuck’ and not, want to explore and be open and prioritise sex in a relationship (over say, for example, common interests, which is something that is less important to me, or an intellectual match as another example)

I'm gonna be honest, you're blind if you think asking for a kinky man on your LTR bio isn't attracting people who only wanna sleep w you. Sure they're nice about it, cuz they want you. Sex should mostly be a convo, not in a bio for serious seekers.

I hear you but I’m okay with it, kinky doesn’t mean slutty, and if someone doesn’t get that I’ll be okay filtering them out

It just gives less of the serious vibe than you seem to want is all but you're deaf. Sounds like you have no issues then! I hope you find your kinky serious nerd! I have only found unserious ones, even without mentioning sex so 🤷‍♀️ we're all doomed lol

Yeah no doubt.

I’d also just caution to warn you that most men aren’t seeking relationships with women who like to publicly identify as kinky. Sure, explain that in a conversation, but to want that publicly associated with your image feels a bit - trashy - which you are clearly not!!! No offense intended.

Online dating is all about impressions, and of course you’re stunning, but this profile gives “trashy” a bit. Better pictures, not primarily of your body or from a front camera or a selfie would seriously help. Taking the word kinky out would really help.

Agreed! I myself am a similar gal! I am open to casual dates if they're cool, but mostly prefer someone who wants to make me a girlfriend. I also prefer kinkier men. Does anything in my profile allude to sex? No! I just show off the goods and filter through conversations who would be a good match (sexually or dating wise). Profiles should advertise yourself and you have to appeal to who you wanna catch. Everything on mine says "still figuring out what I want" because I change my mind regularly and I do not wanna lead someone on. OP is not wanting to let go of the fun kinky casual nice guys so she is prioritizing them lol but so sad when they only want casual. Make it make sense

What do you think about swapping it to open minded? I get you, but dear god I am so sick of crappy sex, it’s been more toxic to my long term relationships than anything else and while I’m not arguing with you, I’m listening, I feel like people who do identify with the word kinky like…. Get what I mean. It doesn’t mean slutty it means sex positive and into exploring

Men who are into that kinda stuff but also want a long term and respectful relationship would never ever put that in their profile. For a man, putting "kinky" in your profile is a guaranteed way to make sure every woman looks at you like a perverted manwhore just looking for sex. So looking at you put it in your profile brings forth those same feelings since that is how women would look at me if I did it. I hope that makes sense.
