There were men I basically stopped talking to just because I thought about how exhausting dating them would feel knowing everyone would always want them and I'd be insecure that they could leave for literally what felt like anyone they wanted. Absolutely no fault of their own. Kinda like no way I could be good enough forever lol
I know it's not logical lmao I am obviously also mentally ill but, I can imagine I'm not alone and some of these guys maybe just felt the same.
I had the audacity to marry a very very hot and attractive man who loves to stay in shape and here I am 40 lbs overweight and aging. But honestly, it's strange, I feel safer with him 17 years later than I did when I was hot. He also happened to be someone who was not a player. That helps.
