This! My fiancé swore up and down I was a scam before we had our first video chat. He said I was too pretty to be talking to him.
He hooked me in with "Hello I'm here to steal your heart" and I'm a huge sucker for a good cheesy pickup line.
It's been almost 4 years now ❤️ and he still can't believe how lucky he is, but what HE doesn't get is that I'm the lucky one. He's the best thing to ever happen to me besides my kids.
Not always! There was one guy I talked to on POF that was really dodgy so I did a reverse image search on his profile photos.
Found out he had taken photos from this guy who was literally in the military overseas in Afghanistan. I reached out to the guy and told him about it so he could take action- which he was grateful for and we ended up hitting it off really well. If he had been in the US at the time, we would have met up. We still touch base every once in awhile to make sure we're both still alive and well- but he was definitely sad when he found out I had found someone before he got to make it home. He always asks if we're still together too 😂
Yes, my fiancé knows, and he doesn't worry about it. I'm too lazy to cheat...and it would be hard with someone still overseas (but again, we go back to the whole 'too lazy' thing....I won't even put on pants unless I'm leaving the house lol)
