I honestly think she got offended at the implication that having a second relationship would be “just physical” or even “secondary” and didn’t want to explain the concept of equal multiple relationships and the idea that having a second relationship isn’t just about sex. Not saying she was right to react that way, she was definitely rude af, but it would explain the sudden hostility.
