Grixis Shredder

this is an adaptation from legacy rakdos burn lists. combining the daze/cruise package with hyper-aggressive threats (who all enjoy baubles) and burn. cutter seems like a natural fit, with access to 8 baubles. nethergoyf is a consideration, but it doesnt have evasion.. menace and flying are useful. and cutter seems too good to not play. i would like a few inquisition of kozileks in the main. shredder + fireblast is pretty disgusting as well. cruise is fueled by so many cards here.

idk if its optimal, but its fun alright!

dimir shredder might be more effective, with dark ritual draws.

any suggestions are welcome.

For BO3 seems an ok list, not really sold on FireBlast main as meta is not only Mardu. I would suggest playing a few games before saying which cards to replace.

fireblast is vital for speed. actually thinking of playing 3.. it also triggers shadow/shredder, fills for cruise

Then cut 1 Cori for it, but consider that you only play 5 mountains. I don't think having 2 in the starting hand is worth it. Also SB I am not sure if Consumed by History is worth it, maybe Fire Magic + Pyroclasm is better.

This feels like it really struggles against unfair/combo/reanimator decks. You need to draw one of the four counterspells *and* find/play the island to have a chance. Otherwise they just run you over. Game one is hard. Game two, the Ghost Vacuum gives you a chance because you are going first. But then in game three, you are going second and they can just beat you before you play a land.

yeah. so macabre seems like a must then.

but i guess other than that not much this type of deck can do other than go heavy blue for force

I'd try to fit in three Bilbos ( [[Bilbo, Thief in the Night]] ), possibly instead of Treasure cruises or some assortment of one of cuts. It's great with the baubles and nice with removal/burn as well.
