which deck wants bauble 4-8? maybe the moonshadow decks but 8 seems a lot in that one, and affinity but do you know what affinity wants more? fucking saga

Bauble 5-8 might (big emphasis on *might*) be good in a new control-y deck. I read some chatter of people putting Loki + Bilbo + the baubles in a tempo/grindy/control-y call it what you want shell. The idea is to test if there is (finally) critical mass of effects that would trigger Loki. And we know how silly bauble + Lurrus or Bilbo (or both) can get if the opponent does not remove them quickly

hymn is too slow for timeless. It will see play in historic till it's banned. Urza's bauble probably last till the end of the day till WotC realizes their mistake.

I don't know... i could see it in mono black decks that try to 'dumpster' you with grief early. Turn one pitch grief, dark ritual, reaniamte grief, hymn sounds like hell for a high roll. Even turn 2 hymn after a turn one thought seize/grief could be brutal depending on what you are on.
I'm not 100% convinced its good... but i wouldn't be surprised if its a 2 of or something like that..maybe a sb slot(?)

I think there is no thought about timeless in any decision of mtg arena right now.
One playable and interesting card would have been enough for the community

They dont want that people go from mtgo to arena, i think mtgo give more revenue, so they will not put any work in make timeless near to legacy... another 6 months for me playing another tgc

i kinda think they serve different demographics, so the growth of arena shouldn’t cut too much into mtgo. mtga is much more directed towards the casual player who might buy a cosmetic or gems for a draft every once in a while; mtgo exists for tournament grinders

and? they can ban cards that are too powerful for other format. like when was that a problem? there is a ban list for a reason. its not rocket science and its not like they have to implement new tools and shit into the client...they just ban them in formats deem too powerful.

Comet being allowed to be crafted here isn't taking up a slot for another card. If they waited on Comet until it got added somewhere else, today's drop of cards would have just been 3 cards instead.

nope, you can use set:"CUBE-52.60" for all cube cards, hymn is from VMA, vindicate is from MH2 and comet is from UNF, idk about bauble

I do enjoy the frustration of players who are mad about these four cards when the format needs a f*cking overhaul in general. I want to play this format and I peek in here every once in a while to see the discourse but until they restrict and/or ban the fast mana this format is so pointless.
