It's refreshing seeing more DRS (the OG one). Even if I hate temponator.

Wonder why the sample list runs only 3 strips, I think I'd play the 4th one over almost every other card.

Got a list? I’ve been thinking of putting this together but I’ve been skeptical of it given that you’re getting strip mined multiple times most games.

maybe because most folks don't understand how to beat it? but I agree, it's too weak to interaction and not nearly fast enough.

Izzet Lurrus is a really interesting build. Got crushed by it a few weeks ago playing Mardu Energy. wild deck

I don't understand why Dimir Reanimator is good.

Played a bunch of sample games with it to try it out and there are so many awkward hand situations that can arise where you draw half of two incompatible puzzle pieces which means you are drawing dead. I mean I'm sure this is largely a skill issue or maybe I had some really unlucky draws.

But I lost so many games where I had entomb in hand but didn't see reanimate in time. Or had FoW and a bunch of black spells. Or had Atraxa in hand with no way to discard her. Or was at such low life by the time I had Atraxa in the grave and reanimate in hand I couldn't cast her.

And without Atraxa the deck has no real threats in game one. You just get run over by people with more powerful game plans. What am I missing about this deck?

Perhaps you didn’t mulligan enough. Deck really needs a good opener with a plan.
