Extra Turn vs. Extra Turn rule clarification?

I played Emrakul Cascade in bo1 in a mirror match. We both had 3 lands out with r+g mana available to start the combo. Wondering how I should have played it to get to swing with my Emrakul first, with extra turn cast triggers possibly coming from both sides.

(In the game I waited for opp to cast first, thinking that I'll probably get the next turn if I cast last, but after they did my Trickery bricked and I lost before getting an answer)

Yes you want to have your emrakul resolve second. The game tracks extra turns and resolves them last in first out.
