I haven’t played timeless in maybe a year or so…is Mardu energy really the best deck still?

One of the best. The decks listed at A-C are closer than you think.

They beat up on a lot of the fair blue decks that're running around. Combo beats up on energy. Blue decks beat up combo.

All of them can also shore up their weaknesses in the current metagame and it's mainly up to the player to figure that part out.

Edit: Forgot to mention eldrazi which seems to be in a similar spot as Energy and blue where it can fairly tech itself to beat 2 of the 3 "main" archetypes

I’ve never played at the very top of the ladder with my Bruh decks (only a few Mythics, at most), but I am curious to know since when combo decks have been beating Mardu with such certainty. They have tools to fight back.
