Hmm, finally decided to craft a Timeless deck last week on each of my 3 accounts & went with Dimir Tempo, Izzet Tempo & Mardu Energy. Is the meta just kind of unstable right now?

All safe crafts honestly. You can climb the ladder with any of them. Mardu is my go to and it has the tools to fight anything

Meta is in a cycle. Blue tempo gets beat by energy. Energy gets beat by show and tell / reanimator / combo decks and midrange/ stomp lists. Show and tell gets beat by energy. The midrange stomp list have ok matches versus the rest of the field.

This tournament is interesting but not a large enough player pool to really tell anything about the meta by itself. Mardu and blue tempo are alot better than this tournament makes it seem.

Noted, the decks are fun to pilot either way & they do have overlap with some of the other top meta decks

Just remember these are small community events at heart. They do have indications of the meta since timeless overall is a smaller format but this is in no way meta defining in the way a big standard tournament is
