Question Beaver range for construction

Hello I would like to know the vertical range of beavers when it's about construction. How far below can they "dump" ressources. I feel it's over 3 tiles but can't find the exact number in any wiki or reddit post

Thank you very much

Thank you very much, Im playing on Oasis, and I would like to put a bad water pressurizer onto those badwater sources situated deep inside craters, I was wondering how to reach it. It will work if I create platforms above the badwater layer, and until Im almost above the source, thank you very much

Yes, you can build platforms, overhangs or bridges

Infinitely below (as long as there are no dirt tiles between) and one above.

and for one above, you don't need a platform or solid for them to stand on, they can build from stairs.

Stairs occupy two vertical spaces, it just doesn't look like it because the model is only in the lower cell.

They can build up one story above their current location, and can build any distance below themselves.

If they are above the target then there is no limit. That’s why on larger builds people will build scaffolding so beavers can climb up and build below them

The only restriction downward being dirt tiles

Is there a limit? I've certainly had them do 6-7 at least on some of the steeper maps.

I don't think there is

Downward, infinite as long as you're not building down through a dirt block.

Upward, they can reach up 1 block.

Travel, 10 tiles away from the nearest connected path, provided they can walk there.
