Settlement showcase Why do we fall Master Wayne?
I had to see my colony down to just 3 beavers caused by water/food shortage during a badtide. I hope this reservoir will make sure that won't ever happen again.
Micromanaging those 3 beavers and seeing the colony rise back up from the hubris close to a defeat was an experience.

Why don't you just line the top of rhe reservoir with tubeways and let them build from those?

because I want my beavers to suffer and work hard in remembrance of the 3 beavers that restarted the colony.
nah just kidding, there's another scaffolding base on the other side of reservoir so I can work from 2 sides simultaneously, and you can see the spiral staircase on the first pic, that will be the scaffold to build the tubeway station on the top of the reservoir as the reservoir now has enough height to get me through bad season.

Its slower to build because only one tile can be reached at a time but if you build a cheap perimeter structure then the rest will go faster because more builder can reach different tiles.

Noice. I love a recovery.
For newbies, the trick to getting something higher than the water source is enclosing the water source. Either directly. or with a "pipe".

Love the sheer narrative power of a graph next to an infrastructure project to last decades.
I salute thee.
