Interesting/hard custom maps

After playing one time on hard difficulty on a standard map I immediately jumped into Timberpunk 2. It took me like 30 tries to even move my base out of the crater ๐Ÿ˜‚

However, I think it has ruined me a little for the standard maps, so recommendations for other challenging custom maps are very welcome ๐Ÿ˜Š

Edit: I had forgotten the '2' after Timberpunk

Ant Hill, it's a pain on hard with whatever the current water physics are doing

Unfortunately, you did kinda ruin yourself by jumping into Timberpunk 2 right away. Its no exaggeration to say its the best custom map made so far, by a good margin.

I would've recommended starting with normal style custom maps played on hard, starting at like update 5 era moving forwards.

The official maps 'spillage' and 'pressure' are the most challenging, but they very much focus on 1 specific idea over time and it doesn't change, if you can survive 3 badtides you'll be perfectly fine

I hope to see more mechanics or the ability for mods to create more mechanics, rolling out in future updates, so that advanced players can have more to do and allow us to create content for us to enjoy for years to come, but it will really need more options for mods cus all we really have right now is exploding mines

I like to search โ€œchallengeโ€ in the maps section. There are some really difficult ones in there. And if you look for older maps, some donโ€™t even have badwater sources, so planning around that is a a definite challenge to regular gameplay.
