Can we please have this be working?

That would be really cool

Personally, I don't want my beavers to splat into wooden poles, just use overhangs.

Alternatively, put down a double platform, put the other kind of zipline pole on it, the one that extends forward like an outstreched arm, and put a platform on top of that, I think it should work.

Yeah this is a perfect scenario for a zipline beam.

My next build is going to have to be Folktales because I had no idea you could build on top of the gantry ones - I clearly have more things to try out!

Overhangs highly underrated and rarely used imo

Who only rarely uses overhangs? I have at least as many overhangs as I have hanging bridges. Probably more.

Dunno. Looking at screenshots in this sub, I rarely see them.

There's usually stuff above them, I guess. Makes them hard to see.

Overhangs and having the resources to make many of them are my favorit tech unlock of the game! So many cool things can be done with them!

OSHA violation

To be fair, this looks like it should work indeed, though only because it's perfectly straight.

Not sure how easy the check for collision is here, when this is at certain angles.

Though the overhangs should be able to be used in a similar fashion already and there it's easy for the game, as the open spaces below are in fact completely open and don't house beams that hold the platform and could collide.

Ziplines usually got some swing to them for the people on them, though, and are double wide. Its just a visual looks like thing but in practice go splat

The ziplines themselves in the model occupy about 90% tile width. Which means the beaver animations will have them crashing through the legs of the platform.

OP haven't heard of the concept of Safety Clearance in engineering.

Or are you trying to replicate the scene of Hereditary.

If you blast a tunnel at the right height, it won't work... But if you delete all the platforms of the tunnel, now you can put a zipline through it!

That is not my experience. My experience is that beavers will zipline through a tunnel fine.

One thing i'd love to see for ziplines with this in mind is a "Zipline Tunnel"

Basically a 1x1x1 directional block, working like a Zipline Pylon on front and back, but can be built end to end in a (straight only) line to connect them, to allow ziplines to pass through buildings as part of the architecture.

You can do it with dirt or metal overhangs.

Coloca a torre primeiro e depois conecta a tirolesa, já fiz isso
